The war within was released with lots of bugs, HUGE menu that make my eyes sore. and terrible monk rework.
Not worth my money.

Well a class re work kinda isnt a bug to begin with and im sure any issues with the menu will be ironed out before the expansion drops … Hey Slow down.
That’s a healthy attitude. Never pay for a product you consider to be bad if you can avoid it. Maybe in time they’ll improve things enough for you to return, but until then, there’s a million other games out there to enjoy Take care and find something you like!
The war within hasn’t been released yet, unless you come from the future… if so can you tell me the euro millions numbers for tuesday the 30th of july, I could do with a win
Pre-patch is release.
That’s your choice. I respect that.
I am personally fine with them ironing out some bugs before release and I still love playing my favorite class/spec, so I’m still looking forward to early access.
Actually no. On the roadmap it clearly shows that TWW release is 11.0.1
We are currently on 11.0.
I am a little worried for the launch. I did always tell people not to worry about early access though - we’re basically doing the testing for other players. If it’s not falling over and impossible to get to the new zones for hours on end, it’s not a proper release!
Pre patch isnt TWW though, its… prepatch TWW launches on August 22/26 and now we just get a naff event to grab some catch up gear and play with our specs a bit and complain about everything like a Brit waiting for the bus.
I’m low key afraid it’s gonna be another WoD or Shadowlands (9.1) case of devs asking to delay the release, but not having the request granted… if that’s gonna be the case… well, let’s just say it’s gonna be real bad news.
I personally won’t be buying it until a few months post release. Bugs are all the more reasons for my decision. I’m here for the pre patch, than it’s time for a break.
It is 11.x
It has all the new expansion features, talents, class/spec, ui updates, graphics updates etc.
What you see now is going into 11.x
Its basicaĺly a release.
If you don’t like your class there is little that can be done about that. If you don’t fancy rerolling to something else then it’s going to be hard.
I’m a one trick so I totally understand. I didn’t play most of Cata because I simply disliked what they did to my class.
As for TWW you can easily just wait and see. If it’s a disaster of a launch you can hold back and buy it when you are satisfied that things are fixed. Or you can just skip this expansion all together if it doesn’t appeal.
I can totally understand to the OP’s point of view. I haven’t bought TWW yet and have no plans to do so just now.
The quality and amount of bugs in the last few patches have just been too bad for my liking. I was waiting to see how to this pre-patch went before I decided whether to buy it. Based on the state of this patch alone I have no faith in TWW.
It doesn’t help that the class I play and have played for 19 years is bugged at the moment too.
I may buy TWW later, months after launch if things look to have improved but for now I’m just going to take a break.
Not really thread worthy.
It is your money your choice. You don’t have to buy something you think is not in a good state.
Someone has been sunbathing.
I made the bad choice of pre-buying it and the nerf of my class-spec make me…ok screw this!
I am gonna buy it but mid-expansion like I did with DF. I will be behind most players but there is less timegating and I just feel more relaxed then for some reason.
Grandpa moment?
it isnt. But im quite sure the problems wont be fixed for the release so your point stays
‘a’ release. Not ‘the’ release.
It is pre-patch. Specifically.
There is a difference.
And them specifically saying that TWW release version is 11.0.1 underlines this.
Its called playing blizzards games before, not not that hard to predict
