so i recently bought a new sim as my phone supports dual sim . so i went ahead removed the previous number and added new number .it said it sent the message to my new number but there was no sms . so i said to myself okay no problem .i will just add the previous one .but that one also says that sms sent but no sms received on my end .
the problem has not been rectified even after one week .
opened support ticket and it has been 4 days but no response from the team . i have also tried to use my mom dad and my brother who have their own sims and different phones .none of them seem to have gotten the sms .
Edit : day 14 , support ticket is sitting with no response from support team .neither any acknowledgement that they are looking into it .
already gone through all these articles. my 10 other friends have been facing this problem too .so its not just me .
The issue is because you’ve purchased a new phone and/or new number, Blizzard and the system thinks this is a security risk on your account. Please make sure that you’ve added the the new number to your account and deleted the old number. Also, if your phone is a temp or burner phone, this may not work with Blizzard’s system as they are looking for players to add more secure cell numbers to their system. Also, If your phone is associated to an email (gmail) you will need to access the gmail account settings just to see if the security settings are set to high as to NOT allow for text messages. Even at one point if you replied with “stop” these message, you will have to reset the system as to allow for the text to follow through.

That’s completely wrong.
A common cause for not receiving such texts is down to the network provider blocking them. I’ve experinced this myself on the Three network (UK) where Blizzard text’s would very often not get through as well as other companies authentication code messages.
If the network is blocking them there isn’t much you can do about it, contacting them won’t help. I ended up switching to a new network in the end.
Of course that doesn’t rule out it being a problem on Blizzards end and that they are just not sending them out.
just report him for posting totally wrong and useless info and he have done this is several threads.
he is basicly just posting in every thread he can just to get a higher post count because he think he will be the next MVP.
so it is indeed a problem .hopefully it gets sorted out as i am also facing this problem .i got this answer from gm yesterday .
