It does mean that, but it does not mean any refund. I guess if you’ve bought a mount on the Online Store, then you save having to spend Trader’s Tenders for it on the Trading Post. That’s essentially the same as those transmogrifications that Blizzard have also sold on the Online Store that would later appear on the Trading Post.
Yes. And no, you won’t get a refund. This isnt the first shop mount (or otherwise irl money involving) mount/item on the post and it won’t be the last.
Even Tyraels Charger was on the trading post and that was an annual pass mount.

This was discussed by Ion when the TP went live.
The only mounts he doesn’t expect to see on TP or Twich Drop is the Spectral Tiger and the Rooster.

You paid the money to acquire the mount at the time it was available. Those that didn’t, only have access to it now. That’s what money buys - asking for a refund seems a little odd to me.

No, you still have access to the mount. The way it was obtained is through RL money, and now it is available for Tendies which is another way. One does not cancel the other out.
I expect there will be many more of such occurences in the TP - even I was surprised they added the Tyrael’s Charger but it is what it is.

It came on the store so people who did not get it via having Diablo 3 could also get it

And before others say it, yes the latest Brutosaur AH mount can well appear on the TP.
Although I will admit I would be more than surprised if it appears for the low price of 700-900 tender given its shop price.

Yes, I bought it on special offer from the store under “may never return” description only for it to arrive on Trading Post two months later. I wasn’t impressed tbh.
It’s quite simple: never trust a company when it comes to money.
If they can make an extra buck they will try anything they can get away with.
And by looking at the sales and amount of mounts, they clearly are getting away with it

Well for now i don’t think it is 100% off the table since with blizzard nothing is really 100% off the table. At least not if it would help them make money gains.
Ion specifically said he didn’t expect to see them as Twich drops. I am only assuming that would extend to TP unless they were as part of another 12 month promotion.
