Now with new Policy against Multiboxing, can i report all i see using isboxer?

Isboxer is pretty easy to spot on a multiboxer, and i would love to report all i see use it on firemaw, and i encourage anyone to do it too, if it is legal.

Currently, the new rule isn’t in place. Blizzard haven’t stated when it will be taking affect so they’re encouraging multi-boxers to stop now before it does.

Any reports you send now will be a waste of time. However once this new rule takes affect, you can report people until your fingers bleed.

Oh that is so nice. Cant wait untill they make it. I will personally stay in winterspring 24/7 to spot multiboxers who uses isboxer to broadcast with. It is easy to see anyways, just watch if all does fireballs at the same time. :).

Technically, it could be. We don’t know. Soon can probably mean anything between a few hours and a couple of months after the announcement based on how Blizzard usually use the word. Blizzard doesn’t always provide any more updates after announcing that something will happen “soon”.

Personally I won’t bother reporting anyone for it yet though, as I doubt they are handing out bans yet.

I think the rule is in place, but we are currently at the stage of warnings. After multiboxers that continue their cheating practices have been warned, the next stage can be entered at any point that Blizzard sees fit to communicate where they will be penalized (banned).
If I was a multiboxer I’d think of ceasing my activities regarding those 3rd party programmes immediately.

So I think we’re good on reporting them already.

Multiboxing is still and will continue to be allowed. But the use of software will change, they still didn’t change the TOS so at the moment they are still allowed till the TOS changes (probably next patch or start of Shadowlands). But the use of software isnt the only way to Multibox there are still oldschool ways of Hardware Multiboxing, that will change the way they need to setup (mostly 1 wow instance per computer, so if you want to do it with 5-10 toons you will need that many computers) basicly you will not see like now people with 40 accounts playing cause of the hardware limitations.

Wrong. The TOS does not allow anything, it only states a bunch of things you are not allowed to do, and it won’t need an update for Blizzard to start enforcing their new policy. The only thing that made the use of software for multiboxing allowed was Blizzard’s expressed policy on the matter. As that policy has now changed, multiboxing software is no longer allowed to be used according to the EULA and TOS (The TOS is basically a TLDR of the EULA).

  1. Create, use, offer, advertise, make available and/or distribute the following or assist therein:

A. cheats; i.e. methods, not expressly authorized by Blizzard, influencing and/or facilitating the gameplay, including exploits of any in-game bugs, and thereby granting you and/or any other user an advantage over other players not using such methods;
B. bots; i.e. any code and/or software, not expressly authorized by Blizzard, that allows the automated control of a Game, Battle.net and/or any component or feature thereof, e.g. the automated control of a character in a Game;
C. hacks; i.e. accessing or modifying the software of a Game or Battle.net in an manner, not expressly authorized by Blizzard; and/or
D. any code and/or software, not expressly authorized by Blizzard, that can be used in connection with the Battle.net client, Battle.net, a Game and/or any component or feature thereof which changes and/or facilitates the gameplay.

Now that the software in question is no longer expressly authorized, it is a violation A and D above, and therefore a violation of the EULA (and TOS). Hardware solutions are covered by A.

Here read this https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/24258

Did you read that link yourself? It clearly contradicts the part of your previous post that I replied to.

Yes, multiboxing is allowed. You can do that by alt tabbing between clients, and for some classes that works quite well. The EULA/TOS however does not allow use of additional software or hardware to send input to several clients at the same time. There is no need to change the EULA/TOS before they start banning people.

I recommend just reporting anyone you see multiboxing. That way the ones using the software can get caught and some false flags (who multibox by alt-tabbing) can be reviewed and allowed.

Also multiboxers are salty about the change and generally small-brained so they don’t comprehend the new changes, good that you’re trying to explain things but some may need a ban to be reminded of this new policy.

Jeez… get a life

how are you going to know? I’ll have my alts on follow and it will look exactly the same if I’m using ISboxer or not. Also my running my alts never affected you!!!

They will just be banned, just like the previous bans and people who did nothing wrong will have no recourse once a GM says “we will not reverse your ban, stop submitting tickets or we will stop you from submitting more tickets” or something like that.

Small brained? It’s small brained to run myself through dungeons when it takes hours to get one using the LFG channel? Do you have any idea how difficult is it to play a healer, tank and DPS at the same time? How long does it take a regular group to run BRD? It takes me around 4-6 hours. Nothing I did ever affected anyone.

I hope whatever way you enjoy the game is made illegal for the sake of reducing bots without actually doing anything.

Why would you need to do ALL of BRD anyway? Most groups have a part like Arena run, Lava run, etc. If random groups abuse you to do everything in there, taking you five hours that’s on you. What you are in for and what not should be agreed beforehand in case of BRD.

I hope it is very difficult to play a healer, tank and DPS at the same time. That way there will be no multiboxing anymore without software or a very expensive hardware comp.

What you did still affected people, not only in realm prices when adding all multiboxer effects up but also in the way you paid to win to get easier gold then everyone else.

What I do ingame is illegal to begin with, that it was condoned for so long was your luck but now the party is over for the cheaters.

There are ways to run several instances of WoW classic on a single computer without each knowing the other even exists… and send key events to each virtual machine without the VM ever able to know it too. It just requires a bit more configuration work, that’s all.

There’s a reason why Blizzard didn’t forbid multiboxing before… because it’s very hard to detect.

For instance, wether it’s me dual logging or me and my sister playing is completely undetectable when the house is behind the same Internet router.

Try your luck, I hope they find the ways to detect. At least the policy warned you now so don’t cry if you do get banned or demand refunds.

I don’t multibox with keyboard broadcasting, but I’ve been working with computers for 35+ years. I know how to do things.

And I also wanted to tell you… you’re a pathetic loser for insulting people, telling them they are “small brained” when they actually clearly have more computer knowledge that you. The only one looking stupid in this thread so far is you.

I’m just replying to people replying to me. If you want a forum ban as well I encourage you to continue the insults.

Want me to report you for the “small brained” ? Let’s see who gets banned, ok ?
You started the childish insults. So don’t throw stones when you’re in a glass house
