Has anyone tried to obtain the Westfall Chicken as a Horde character? I’ve found some comments that suggest it is possible. I also vaguely remember tales of people trying it with the chickens in Brill and them being hostile to the guards, preventing the quest for the special chicken feed from being accepted.
I’m not sure, but I think it’s possible if an alliance character completes the quest and a horde character opens the egg item that spawns on the ground.
Don’t take this as truth though, never tried it.
You need an alliance to do the quest in westfall I think then pick up the egg.
The comments for Cluck! suggest that the quest can be obtained from any regular chicken anywhere in the world. And you can also ninja the egg, but me not that kind of orc.
You know what this means? Time for some SCIENCE!
After some experiments and a number of dead chickens later (Deathguards really don’t like talking chickens), it appears that…
…is going to be the only way for my shaman to acquire this chicken. I’m glad that I checked this before importing a bunch of special chicken feed.
