Arthas had the Frostmourne, which is what made him so powerful, but Bolvar doesn’t have the Frostmourne, the crown only lets you control the undead. Plus, it’s not like the Lich King Is a demi god, sure he’s powerful, but he’s not the ruler of infinite cosmos or something.

It is not like the Lich King made an entire army of highly trained soldiers in the previous expansion. You know the horsemans and the death knight? Who for some reason ignored an attack on their main base…

After Bolvar gave orders to the DK’s for a whole expansion I presumed that he can do that again. How naive was I.
lets see, sylvanas has atleast 1000 years more combat experience than bolvar, atleast 10 more years experience with her own powers since becoming undead, it doesnt matter if bolvar is the stronger fighter if sylvanas is the better fighter

The only reason why Bolvar took the crown after Arthas was killed, to keep the scourge in Northrend, which he did so far. Now that the crown is destroyed, according to the lore the scourge is supposed to scour the lands as a mindless hive.
A DK’s accepted Bolvar’s orders to keep the scourge at bay, but they let the crown to be destroyed.
well i doubt the knights kept a close eye on icc, with the scourge being dormant and everything, and even if they did, sylvanas killed them or something

She is powerful now than back then. She is not the same Sylvanas from back during Wrath of the Lich King.
