I know where this is going. Blizzard will use Night Elves as punching bags again, and make Tyrande evil.
Why they will do this? Just because Horde players were crying, saying that only Horde has division in their ranks.

I think this is the end. When you can predict the story so easy, means that story writers are not professional.

But only if you are actually trying to enjoy the game you are spending your time on (either playing or here on the forums). You won’t get the same amount of salt, if you focus on stuff you don’t hate.

And while I don’t see signs of greatness in the Azeroth-story, any distraction from the main plot is a step in the right direction to me.

She won’t.

But she can try. And fail.
And be killed for it by both Alliance and Horde ingame.

But you can focus instead on Magni.
I’m sure you’ll find his quest to kill miners Worldwide most interesting and distracting, while the rest of the plot is about how people loot her character’s corpse.

Let´s just see it through. It´s all we can do. There must be a lot of lessons learned during the life of Battle for Azeroth, storytelling included.

I have faith, that the storytelling of the next expansion will reflect that. I hope.
The ongoing story would work so well as a novel. It just does not work to perfection in a game involving characters some might have “known” for, what, 20 years?

We have to create some distance, and care less. Which sounds like a bad thing, but what I am saying is, we care so deeply about these characters, and we want the story to go in a specific direction. That just will not happen, when we are not the storywriters.

We just have to pick the pieces from it we like. I know it is no easy task.
