it is a fact that it helps but thats what i ment is that with that move is like throwing dust in ppls eyes. yes it does good but if you see the big picture its only to promote token. there is way too much gold and blizz will not put lots of âfreeâ gold in game like we have now. AH is already unusable by normal players and the fact that they have implemented expensive vendor materials for the professions is the way to âburnâ lots of gold. so over time there will be less and less gold and token is promoted even more

The same way gw2âs TP survived so will WoWâs AH. Nothing to panic about.

Ah, I see now what you meant.
Iâm still not sure that the purpose is to promote the Token while reducing the numbers, but as I said, itâs an interesting idea.
the difference is GW 2 is f2p while WoW you buy the game AND a sub every month.

Not much of a change on the Stormscale. I really donât see point in this, it should be all or nothing if you ask me.
You are not exactly correct. For full access in GW2 you have to buy it. Only parts of the game are F2P
Does it really matter like? After the AH updated I was selling WOTLK epic gems which have been rotting in my bank since Cataclysm for over 200g each.
Looks like a lot of BC/WOTLK/CATA mats are pricy and selling pretty well so why donât you just change what you farm?
Iâm noticing a big change on my low pop server where mats sell a lot faster, and previous expansion mats actually sell too

Some prat is spam listing it at 1 gold and buying any listings back so fast that I literally canât click on it before itâs gone.

Canât post auctions cause a search for current prices doesnât complete
Canât buy materials cause whatâs available changes so quickly
So from an avid crafter and AH user, this has been a terrible implementation
I am sure those using bots to make purchases will be making a ton of gold

Yup, every time I try buy something itâs either not available (despite a refresh showing itâs still there) or I get and Internal Auction error.
Absolutely piss-poor implementation, but the bots are loving it.

That shouldnât be a problem. For one simple reason, if players are not able anymore to keep buying tokens because they have lost part of the gold income it means there will be fewer buyers of the token with gold. The consequence of that is a decrease in the token price until eventually, players are able again to buy it. So, if playersâ gold income decrease I predict a collapse of the token price like the one we had at the start of BFA.

What I wonder is why they only put reagents on region wide AH? Why is not everything going on region wide AH? You are killing off professions with this

Yeah, it must be horrible that you guys canât sell your stuff for a price thatâs way above its actual worth.
Since everything is already a lot cheaper, people wonât need to make as much gold as before. Obviously.

Because AH is optimized to work with the type of items that are all exactly the same, like reagents. When you query the AH for one type of reagent item the AH only needs to give you the total number of items grouped by price. But for non-comodities items like armor, the AH will need to give you all the individual auctions because different items with the same ID could have differences (like for example stats on armors). If with those items already optimized the AH has many problems probably it means with non-commodities items it will simply not work.
