For me, I much more enjoy mining deposits or picking flower. I have 50 chars set up with mission tables but it was so boring I can barely do it most days.
Blizzard makes more money when people use gold for tokens indirectly
Well be happy you can at least still play. I made over 6 mil yesteerday cause ppl bought stupid stuff from me and now I cant log in cause since it seems I made too much in too short time for blizzard. Also there is no information / e-mail from blizzards side and I have no idea when my account will be accessible again.
This whole AH feature is a untested mess overall and now we as players are paying for Blizzards crappy âlets intruduce a new feature without proper testingâ attitude.
There is a reason why in IT usually new stuff gets tested in a test enviroment and we do not have the customer test. It just gives a bad impression about the competency of the staff and especially managers that greenlit this beeing introduced into a production enviroment.
No one that would have purchased those tokens is going to stop buying those tokens but many people might need to actually pay for their own sub each month now, at least temporarily.
In the long run, I think the token price is going to fall dramatically because more people will be trying to sell them than people that can afford to buy them at the current rate.
This is all assuming the community never stops needlessly undercutting each other 24/7. Itâs like no one knows itâs last in, first out now on the auction house even if you post an item at the same price.
just let them undercut each other until they drop bellow vendor cost and people start to mass buy and vendorthrash the stuff
Well my things are getting sold againâŠso Iâm happy lol
Cheap mats, canât complain honestly.
everything selling for lower than mat price takes an age to scan . They definitely want the gold making via AH to end.
I mean if everything is really cheap, what would you need a lot of gold for anyway.
Still no public acknowledgement from Blizzard that the auction house still has issues?
The âInvalid seller dataâ still persists
I on the other hand enjoy paying 300g per flask instead of 800g. I also dumped all my flasks prior to the merge because the price change was obvious.
It depends on what you sell I suppose, the items I used to sell for gold (gems and enchants) are now reduced by 50-75%. So its hardly worth making them any more. Too much time for almost no profit. But they do sell very fast, if they sell.
Sinvyr going for 6g a piece down from 20+ felt kinda awful as I only make hold via gathering
Thank the lord I farmed for a month before this hit
For me, playing much the AH (no, not with TSM. Just buying, crafting, selling), the actual state of prices just make me stop crafting anything. It just does not make sense to craft an enchant and then have a profit of 2-5 gold. Just do the math. Its not worth the time. Its even less with food.
I am curious where this is going. Especially for DF where they announced to âbring back meanings to professionâ
âŠand the AH is unavailable again.
Itâs good for everyone, whose main gameplay doesnât revolve around making gold
Scoff all you want. Watch this space.
Its Bobbyâs world, be blessed you are allowed to live in it, now go buy dem tokens.
âŠthe items I used to sell for gold (gems and enchants) are now reduced by 50-75%. So its hardly worth making them any more. Too much time for almost no profitâŠ
Increased the vendor cost of Penumbra Thread to 11 gold (was 9 gold).
- Developersâ note: This price change is to balance the decreased cost of reagents with the change to a regional commodity Auction House.
The taxman ensuring they still get their cutâŠ
On one hand, as someone who is not a hardcore Auction House player, I think they needed to rein in the cancelling style of play so someone could:
-
experience the nice feeling of selling an occasional item once in a while.
-
Afford to buy items needed to access content they want to do.
On the other hand, I am suspicious of longer term motives, that may reduce gold making in game (or limit it to boosters in elite content) thus restricting the options of how players can afford to pay to access the game.
The game is expensive enough, given that we need to purchase all new content and a subscription to ârentâ everything.
If the sub lapses - the player is back on the same footing as someone who has never played it.
Sorry for asking but WHAT stupid stuff did they buy for you to earn so much?
