Ok so warmode buffs for alliance

The warmode increase for alliance has caused more alliance players to turn on warmode to do their world quests but then they turn it off so they won’t be ganked in the world.
A 20% increase wasn’t enough so they got a quest to kill 25 horde players for a piece of 370 loot and 1k AP.

I’m pretty sure Blizzard did NOT intend for alliance players to group up and camp flight masters, killing horde players 1 by 1 as they land until their quest is complete. This is obviously fair because every single player in the game knows that all these casuals who cried about warmode being unfair are doing the exact same thing… no wait, they’re worse. Horde players didn’t camp alliance flight masters. But you know what? Most of us horde players are almost okey with alliance getting this warmode buff because we find it hilarious and pathetic how desperate and bad these casual QQers are when they need to group up as 5 or more and camp flight masters to complete their weekly pvp quest. As it turns out, you’re just bad at pvp. When a group of 6 alliance players are losing to 3 horde players, it only proves how bad they are and that they don’t deserve a buff.

I look forward to horde getting a buff in warmode, or a weekly quest like alliance, when Battle for Dazar’Alor is released. Mostly because casual players don’t deserve a warmode buff after they cried about the game being unfair when they simply can’t pvp, but also because it makes the game fair for both factions instead of giving alliance the upper hand.

aka world PvP. If it wasn’t intended they wouldn’t be PvP NPCs

Funny, all the complaints about so many Alliance and the buff has STILL not gone to Horde.

No, I dont count RP servers.

 there is something i have learned over the years: both sides are made of the same humans and behave the same all the time.

Why are you angry ? You have more alliance to kill. You also have more player and more skilled player.

I only do turtle WQ and invasions, only do emissary WQ if the invasion isn’t up. And azerite gear to scrap. Uh, guess I ruin WM then, better yet I have no reason to be active at all outside of 7th Legion stuff (medals) and turle (recipe for feast). Yet I’m the one activly fighting in WM and having fun now, sometimes Horde wins, sometimes Alliance and other times 1 side just has to go ruin the shard and make a LFG gank raid… 17 kills, sadly I forgot my 25 kill quest and thus wasted the first 10 and 50 CP ontop of it by opening the chest when I capped on CP and didn’t yet return but didn’t want to lose my chance on the last mog I needed from the aspirant set (which is more important to em than the 50 CP).

Guess what horde did yesterday? That’s right camp Seeker’s Vista, AGAIN. Previous time we had Zudlazar? 20m+ raid with atleast 9 assassins were grieving people who just wanted to finish the quest at Alliance. But you only hear Horde players when it happens to them, never when Horde did the ganking 90% of time pre-8.1. Then we Alliance just had to L2P. Be happy during invasions you have chances to kill me, I’m sure to kill you if there is a chance of winning (I’m not bloody stupid) or atleast tag if others are already killing you.

We still have the 30% buff and chance (for me atleast) to get 12 titan residuum and some AP. I’m still trying to get some slots in 385, came close 380 socketed cloak. Well it went to my TW set. Yes that’s gear we get we need a TF (or a WFx2 or WF+socket for my offhand weapon) to make it usefull. And there is big chance they aren’t updating the quest (not mentioned) so if that happens you will have less Alliance again because sadly some only do it for the quest and then turn it off. But you will have those players on every side.

The 30% is basicly not useless but quite bad if you don’t WQ 24/7 doing every azerite one and mainly stick to invasions for medals, like me. If you do atleast 1 or 2 IEs (some days I feel energized enough to also do some WQ on Darkshore/Arathi and only if they contain WQ with Azerite) a day on HC you outearn me on Azerite if you would do the same.

Sorry but we do as well as Tortolen questguivers and final quest exit/enter for the invasions with 20-30 every time it is up. And Alliance does the same just on a different shard so we have a little opportunity for a real brawl.

It’s so obvious that “Warmode” in Blizzards eyes means, “Feedmode” there is not even the chance of something even. Either you gank someone with 10 ppl or you get ganked by 10 people.

This “change” they did is just some artificial pseudo bs that shall show that “world” pvp is alive. It’s not - their superior idea of making world pvp alive is: putting low pop shards of a faction in a high pop shard of another faction.

Good job, we ate the bait.

make stuff up… check.

pretend it’s fact, and queue faux outrage… check.

I am sorry but this statement made me laugh and wet my boxers.

Why are you posting about it so?

And like no horde group ever ganked an Alliance player, ever.

Complete and utter nonsense. I landed in a pack of 20+ Horde at a flight point just today, and it’s by no means the first time. You’re either extremely naive or you’re lying.

We had that happening in voldun.

about 7 or 8 alliance players camped a tortollan flight point (On a day with tortollan world quest), and killed any horde player who arrived instantly.

We ended up forming a raid, and spawn camped them for over an hour. I think i killed around 70 to 90 alliance players in that duration.

What goes around comes around.

And that is fine, it is what comes with warmode. The problem is that a lot of players think you should get the free buff and never have to suffer the consequences of turning on a PvP tag.

One alliance player that doesn’t have any progress on that quest…That’s how highly I rate warmode and PvP in world of warcraft.

However to hear Horde complaining about having people to fight with in Warmode…just blows my mind.

Are you not entertained!?

You have willing participants in World PvP and you are complaining about it?
So much as to complain about the tactics which I’ve seen the Horde employ on countless occasions over the years.

What’s the next complaint going to be? having to be online to play an online game?

We will never see the Alliance 30% buff but my own observation is that the quest has a far bigger impact. Every Wednesday there is an influx of Alliance in WM in groups usually camping some AP WQ, Assault quest location or a flight path. Then Tuesday to Monday it goes back to normal with fewer Alliance in WM. Sometime there is a bit of a surge on Tuesdays as presumably people who are trying to get the quest done before reset.

It is fair to say both sides will go for the same tactics in World PvP. They will camp the same locations, do the same ‘dirty’ tactics.

It doesn’t feel fair to get a lesser Enlisted buff (Horde 10%/Alliance 30%) but that is Blizzard’s answer to solve the problem with the number of Alliance willing to turn on WM. It’s not one I agree with personally especially when many of us are AP farming. It’s also a rather good boost to levelling.

Imagine you play in dominant PvP faction and still whine about getting ganked :joy:

now imagine that guy in none-dominant faction :joy: oh god…

I just wonder why its so damn unbalanced still.

Say the warfront quest things are at a alliance place, Tiragarde Sound, the alliance still have the 30% buff (since its world wide, not just server wide, seems silly to me, but okay).

You then have a WQ where you need to kill 10-12 npc and a named NPC, but, there are like 50+ alliance player there, camping the named NPC spot while you see next to no horde in the zone.

I know this buff is to make it “fair”, 1:1 fight rotation, but, sometime, it just feel like its 1:40+ (horde:alliance), sure thats how it was at the start (without all those alliance buffs).

I also find it wierd why alliance are getting a “kill 25 horde player” quest, while the horde dont get a “kill 25 alliance player”, call the quest “kill em while they are down” or something like that, basically, horde player get nothing out of killing alliance player, meaning, most of the horde player are passive while doing WQ in a warfront with PvP on, while the alliance are more bloodthirsty as it is.

Another random thing with WQ and PvP mode is, howcome i cant get credit for killing alliance player on those quest…“kill 10 alliance soldier”, howcome the “player” are not a soldier?, seems like a oversight, i am damn sure more PvP had happen if this was in case, atleast i can complete my quest by killing alliance player = better, then what it is atm.

So, all in all, i feel like this is a “carrot on a stick” for the alliance player, making them behave like the horde player before all this warfront stuff :stuck_out_tongue:
