Ok so warmode buffs for alliance

It’s fake. It was filmed by SI:7 in Stormwind to discredit Horde. Horde never camp Alliance players! They always come in same numbers as their opponents and always check gear level in order to maintain honor. Neither they attack lowbies.

Apparently horde never camped alliance NPCs or flight masters. Must have been dreaming of why I turned off warmode to begin with.

Entered Dazar’Alor with a party of 5(Alliance) and it took them 30 minutes to actually group up. They were just going past us like we didn’t exist and we just slowed and killed them. After 30 min they gathered and they finally beat us. Then we completed the rest of the kills at the tortollan flight master.
I’m not a PvP player but it’s definitely more fun doing the 25 kills quest when there is an Assault cause that means enemies are also fighting for loot.

I agree the quest is one of the main issues about the spikes in alliance activity.
I assumed that after the quest wasn’t raidable anymore, it would help on the horde ganking, but I guess not (haven’t done the quest myself), judging by what you write.

The idea of a dynamic x% buff in theory is fine for me (if the quest wasn’t there) as it properly would have evened out some of the time vs gains you would have on the two factions. Preferably the dynamic buff happen more often that once a week, because as you say currently (with the quest) it isn’t nice to be the horde on a Wednesday, so giving the horde the 30% (or whatever it would be buff) that day at least would be fine for me.

And yes no matter what it isn’t a perfect system, removing the quest and buff entirely even the 10% would be a fine option for me as well, since even if it turned out to be horde WM on and alliance WM off none would have an advantage, all it would do was giving you the option to do some PvP if you wanted.

Generally the horde who are trying to do whatever the quest is will rally form a party and kill the Alliance in question but there tends to be a constant flow of those coming to do their quest.

It goes back and forth which I guess is part of the aim but the effect only seems to last one day :frowning:

I would actually also prefer all buffs and incentives be removed. Many just use it as a way to farm extra AP/XP/resources and another group just use it for the gear quest. Somewhere there is a real figure of those actually interested in WPvP.

30% Alliance is an insult, especially when fortified with a 370 gear quest. There are risks for both faction. I would they add 30% for each faction and then leave the 370 quest for the Chicken of the Alliance… I mean Hero of the Alliance.
And Yes, I have an horde and it pisses me a bit getting less AP :stuck_out_tongue:

One of the best things Blizzard ever implemented, imo.

50% subscription discount for war mode on? No? Please? You can take my 370s back :stuck_out_tongue:

If blizz didn’t give the best racial to the horde then maybe we wouldn’t need the bonus

Again with the racial… How many players do you think get to horde because of racials? :stuck_out_tongue:

Frankly thats still the best way for alot in the Alliance to get their pvp quest done on most servers. when you go to assaults or just normal world quests its Always giant groups of horde you see dominating everything and corpse camping you.

Also the Alliance isnt the only one who camps flightpaths, there also have been plenty of times i got destroyed the moment i got off the flightpath in tortollan camp

Because it’s not actually working. A short term influx of people in five man groups/multiple five man groups camping specific locations for a very short time, does not equal the Alliance population turning it on in general.

That’s better than nothing. Horde already does it for free

It’s not fixing anything but as long as you get your triple buff and gear I’m sure you think it’s all fine xD

It’s just an annoyance.

But the horde does the same thing often, i also often see people in the chat asking for help fighting the horde everywhere so there are plenty of people with wm on.

Personally i think even with the 30% buff the extra gold / resources or azerite reward is minimal. In the end you gain more by doing world quests more quickly with wm off than constantly fighting the horde everywhere. the 30% buff doesnt even really cover the repair costs for the times i get ganked when doing a wq.

the bonus honor in wm also feels pointless nowadays with the removal of pvp gear vendors. like i care about that one pet at honor lvl 20 to grind honor

Of course both sides will do the same ‘dirty’ tactics. But the problem is the quest causes an influx on one particular spot and a high turnover of people doing the same thing continuously.

It’s artificially creating a reason for people to seek conflict with the opposition as opposed to WPvP being organic. Whereas two opposing factions may naturally war over a WQ location this is people actively having to go and camp them in order to get a reward.

I actually couldn’t care less about yet another 370 reward, it would just be something else to d/e, I’m more upset about the triple WM enlisted buff. However, nothing will change. It will be Hordemode and the Alliance Buff
