Many Allied Races are still waiting.
I suppose the shiny new thing sells boxes. You know though I’m am pretty sure that once people get over the novelty of Drac’thyr they won’t be a popular race, not only because they can only be one class, but because they’re just well, novel, rather gimmicky. They ain’t a solid standard race like a Human, Blood Elf or an Orc.
Yea yea it’s ‘cool’ to be a kind of dragon, but you know in the end the model is clunky and that will eventually put people off and they’ll go back to their Blood Elf.
Many people would argue it’s ‘cool’ to be a werewolf, but Worgen ain’t that popular. The reason is because the model is kind of clunky, and they just ain’t well realised in most peoples’ view (I’m quite confident in saying that I think).
Many would also think it’s extremely ‘cool’ to be a swashbuckling pirate with accent and all-- but how popular are Kul Tirans? Hmm… yes, and that’s entirely because the models are absolutely hideous, particularly the female.
I’m not interested in Joe over here and Sally over there saying “Well I like Kul Tirans.” yea, well, yes some will-- but my point is always general consensus. I think you’ll find the great majority think Kul Tirans, and Mechagnomes for that matter, are awful.
No. You can state your opinion like everybody else - on topic. But not by insulting my character or post history, which doesn’t matter in that regard.
Have done, many many times, in the other thread, over and over again, as did other posters.
Not insulting in any way, simply informing you that you’re refusing to acknowledge others point of view, and in doing so telling people to either agree with you, or go away!

People said all that about DH and Panda’s yet they are popular you are speaking like it is fact.
Instead of lambasting new race ask for EVERYTHING to be improved some people are so close minded its unreal.
Pandas are not popular.
DH are elves which certainly works in their favour, and they tend to be overpowered with AE.
I don’t think it has anything to do with being close minded, and I said ‘pretty sure’ which isn’t a statement of absolute fact.

Hmm. I remember seeing someone post numbers on this, back when such things were more easy to come by. Apparently pandaren were extremely popular at the start, obviously, then took a massive dive for a couple of years before climbing up to their current popularity (or lack thereof).
Anecdotal evidence I know, but it makes sense if you think about it. Something is really popular at the start because it’s the new thing, then loses popularity because it’s no longer the new thing and maybe gets hated on, and then regains the adoration of people who always liked it in the first place and new people who “discover” it.

Which is another point why it’s more economic to improve things already there instead of only focusing on new things. In the end, the old approved things will carry the game.
And we have a tiny one… a medium one with no neck and beard… One that looks like Cubix the robot… One who can turn into another race…
A taller and fat one… The pretty ones with sharper ears…
