Once again you are too slow, all my buddies unsubbed

We are getting 1 myth-track item per week, IF we are able to get a +10 done in week 1, AND IF we do not get bad vaults.
When you ask me i want longer instead of shorter seasons.

Shorter patch cycles would mean that by the time you’re fully geared—assuming you manage to get all the gear drops on your checklist—it’s already time to move on to the next grind.

Players surely want time to enjoy the fruits of their labor, to actually play with the gear they’ve worked for, and experience their character at its peak, even if just temporarily.

Faster content cycles would leave players always striving, but never truly arriving.

Which is what you get with 16 weeks seasons, what you suggest.
This is why i want longer seasons, instead of shorter.

Indeed
I mentioned 12-16 weeks as the sweet spot because it seems to satisfy the majority. That said, I agree with you—slightly longer cycles would be preferable.

If you ask me, you explain here really well that the gearing system is horrendous for the average player. By the time they are geared
the participation levels dropped to a point where it no longer really matters.

I think, as well, that 12-16 weeks is a nice cadence
but only if they completely revamp the gearing system. Potentially even making previous-season gear not obsolete at the start of each new season (by reducing the power gap / ilvl gap between each season).

It wouldn’t hurt to not be fully geared at the end of a season, if your gear remained somewhat usable.

When it is about gear; this season myth track is made too important by adding 2 extra tiers on it in comparison to the previous seasons. Fully upgraded hero-geared was rather good, now it is 13 ilvl below the maximum. It was like
6? It is also a big burden for playing alts

Still i would prefer longer seasons than 16 weeks for sure. But in the current state it wouldn’t even be worth to play it at all.

Did any casual buy the 78 euro mount ? If not then i dont know about the bill claim

I may be a minority but I am still the opinion that one season later the gear should only move up one Raid difficulty.
Like for example if you where previously raiding mythic, next season Raid would give you this Gear on Heroic Level.
This way your gear would became relevant but also another gear spiral.

people in that case would start crying after two weeks that the season has ended for them and they have nothing to do now

And those are items~ gear are completely garbage once the 1st day of season 2 begins .

What the point of spending 10-20k to craft a 636 ilvl when in 1 or 2 month the 1st veteran item is better than the better crafted/mythic item at 6/6 ??

So right now we have ~ A seasonal game with time-gated content(gear) that become useless every new season as well the content .

I wonder if you are going to do the current raids even on mythic for upgrades once the new season hits :

Yeah

What we want is to gear up and then use and enjoy that gear in challenging content. That is the reason for gearing up. I am not against seasons, but the seasons shouldn’t indeed be very short. Otherwise you spend indeed 10’s thousands of gold on enchants and crafts and throw it away 2 weeks later.

What I also would want is (beside the great vault) to be able to buy targeted gear again just like with the Justice Points or the Awakened Raid currency. Because this way I can at least have a generall estimation how long I would take with a character. But with how arbitrary the vault can be, I may or may not be able to gear up for something that will be thrown away in a few months or weeks after anyway.

Finishing the story can be done in future patches. They shouldnt wait for completionists or slow people

This is a nice addition making some specific items be able to be targeted especially something that you are unlucky to obtain .

We had that in older expansions but currently everything is a gambling event Ex. Lottery Vault *

i dont know what to say that hasnt already been said

WoW doesnt produce full experiences anymore
 they gatekeep it

each patch is 10% content, you only truely get the full game on the last patch

Yep, as m+ player gearing is garbage, praying a weekly slotmachine to give me upgrades, or wait 2 weeks to create an item. Beyond meh.

The crafting system is effectively a vendor letting you buy items with crests, and we get two raid drops for free on a vendor next patch from the raid renown track.

Then you’d need different scaling, different items and people would find another reason to complain.

Again, which other game does this?

Ah yes the the millions of players should cater to my schedule argument.

Season cadence is fine, especially with people wanting a break over Christmas.
