I made a mistake, I joined PvP to play with friends however I neglected to realize just how sweaty players are, especially when there’s only a single PvP server to choose from and I’m now just being repeatedly corpse camped by level 60 players who are so sweaty their using their level 60’s to oversee their lower level alts on secondary accounts to allow them to freely farm areas without competition.
I know this was my mistake but I don’t want to be punished by having to reroll again, just let me pay to move my character to the PvE server so I can relax without being constantly harassed by level 60’s I have no chance against.
I dont think theyre gnna end theyre megaservers so theres that what ending them will do is split the community up that exists there which insnt fair if anything id see them taking the same path that era servers have. In fact id prefer the era servers to be made into respective mega servers with free transfers offered for those wanting to swap from pvp to pve.
The annivesary servers might be called somthing different in future but i doubt they will be taken down.
Well after original 2019 launch it did progress into TBC, but blizz gave choice to copy character to era (which not that many did I assume, since era was dead after it ended, because of TBC hype), do nothing and your character will remain in TBC or payservice to keep character in TBC but also copy it to era.
This anniversary season is similar to original 2019 launch, just shorter (1 year) and few changes, which are not in current era (dual spec, unlimited boss debuff slots, instant mail between characters).
I did not play season of mastery, but I remember it was also with few changes different to era, but after that season ended characters were sent to era I believe right?
If that’s so then I will believe this season blizzard should give same options just how original 2019 classic launch ended, pay service to keep both characters in TBC and era, or chose 1 free transfer to either TBC or era.
No its lt logical tbh charging again for tbc or era transfers on anniversary is wrong bc they’ve already done it.
Theres a good reason and its that era died off, why do it again to have more era servers that die off ?? The anniversary servers should move to tbc snd beyond with no era option.
If blizz make era servers they should combine them into pve pvp megaservers across the board thereby increasing pop by a large portion perserver.
This is what we call learning from experiance. Repeating the same thing and expecting different results is madness.
Why pay for a chara to remain when it can be done free. If ppl want that the opt is still there in era servers.
The #somechanges comes to mind purely bc having exact clone wont work for todays players.
I can 100000% tell you that the mindset of og players from 2005 is completely different than todays, its even different from the 2019 players by a large margin.
Ppl want fast lvling fast runs fast raids gear and gold. Thats why anniversary is being rolled out faster.
Also its why mega servers bc ppl want content fast and they want grps to run with. Its also why grp finder tool, it wasnt as advanced in original era bc it hadnt been done b4.
Ppl didnt want grp finder they just wanted somthing to get rid of city sitting and spamming for grps to make it faster fir faster runs.
Long and short of it is i dont agree with yet another method for blizz to take money off ppl for literally no efforts, theres so many ways for them to make their money above and beyond the sunscription, hell theyre selling the brutosaur for 60 gpb right now and tons of ppl have bought it.
