Our guild has several players waiting to join on another server for the transfer to open.
Recruiting is basically impossible on the server for a Finnish only guild like us at the moment.
We need more raiders from outside the server as we are constantly struggling to fill the raids.
Make Gehennas great again.
Keep it locked until every other server has the same amount of total population as gehennas.

Luckily they won’t, they know the game is dying and not even that slowly.
They will open up the servers sooner or later to make some more cash and keep the remaining payers playing.
Not that I really give much credibility to someone’s opinion who is posting from lvl 13 char anyway. As usually they’re just trolls looking to cause mayhem.

Why does someone’s level mean their opinion doesn’t matter? I think you can assume they want to keep their main private and that this isn’t their only character.
Anyway, it is unlocked, for making new characters at least. Unlocking it for transfers will mean it will get locked quickly again as a lot of people will transfer to it and others causing queues.
Because anonymous opinions can’t be trusted. They are not made in good faith, if one thinks he is right about something there should be no reason to hide behind anonymity. Doing so is an admittance towards not believing your own argument in the first place.

Actually most are.
Believe me, if your opinion differs from someone else’s they can get really annoyed about it and send ingame messages and insults.
I always post on the same character and that is not max level.
First they will sell boosts to everyone wanting to play on those servers, after that they will prob unlock them and get ppl to transfer their chars, this is how they are so good at making money.
Gehennas is still far too big to allow transfers. So many people would flock there, it would be unplayable again
If your guild is having trouble recruiting only one nation of people, how about you move instead of opening the floodgates?
I don’t know, I think I’d be more willing to trust the opinion of somebody I’ve seen on this board for quite a while than a 32 post nobody that thinks opening a overpopulated full realm is a good idea.
You want to potentially damage a server more than it already is just so that you can recruit for your guild, and your guild isn’t even a good one.
I don’t think Gehennas should open until mid ICC honestly it’s the biggest server in the EU and possible world for WOTLK-C.
I’m sure you can find 10-25 Suomi on Gehennas though.
Karteli has been on gehennas since day 1 of classic and now they are getting griefed by the server being locked. Seems like a completely valid reason to be upset at blizzard. Do you even play on gehennas?
Can you explain why you’re being griefed? I can see from the gehennas discord there’s a healthy amount of people looking for a guild.
You will probably have an easier time transferring your guild to an open server instead.
Blizzard has stated that they will not open up locked realms for transfer.
That is a very outdated statement that can’t be applied in actual situation.
We were told that Gehennas shouldn’t get character creation and transfers, because Ulduar is coming and ENOURMOUS queues are going to happen even with server being locked. Guess what? I am yet to see a single queue on Gehennas since October 2022 and we are 4 weeks into P2 already.

Sure, we don’t have the data Blizzard does, but judging from their official blue post where they state they aren’t unlocking servers because they are feared that Ulduar release will cause massive queues just to unlock character creation some weeks later, makes me think they can’t really read and understand their own data. Simply said, their actions lack consistency, from what we can make a conclusion that they don’t know what they are doing.

If Kartelli has been on Gehennas since day one, why didn’t these people move to Gehennas pre-wotlk? The server has been locked since WoTLK, but it was open for 3 years prio.
There are many valid reasons to be upset at Blizzard right now, but this isn’t one of them.
But are we close to queues? We all know the amount of posts here asking for transfers to be allowed, if that is representative of the people who post on the forums then imagine the amount who don’t post here and will transfer if allowed.
There must a lot of the people who post here want transfers to open and that is many thousands if you count those who play and don’t post here. Plus it will turn a lot of the medium and low population realms into ghost towns especially if they open Firemaw too.
Anonymous feedback is the most valuable feedback, as it doesnt have to be moderated. Do what you want with this information.
