Openworld questing way too easy

The campaign felt way too easy, there is zero challenge ,mobs die in one hit, elites die in 2, and you never have to worry about dieing.

There is zero challenge and i found this increadably boring. Leveling up in this expansion feels like playing a timewaster mobile game.

Maybe let us increase the difficulty of the overworld, like in diablo?

What do you think?

wow leveling has not a single time in it’s lifetime been hard
and, no, classic leveling is not difficult - it is simply more time consuming which =/= difficult

If you find questing too easy then take off some of your gear. I find it just right and thanks to recent changes I now have it harder.

Well you don’t go around 1-2 shotting every single mob and if you pull 3 mobs above your level you’re 90% a goner.

I had to wait up til lvl 77 that my spells don’t actually one shot every single mob so that I could see my new spells and talents in action. Could we at least have a few non mandatory say kill quests while leveling, where the mob has some one shot mechanics for challenge etc?

Have yesterdays changes gone live now?

have you seen blue post? check it.

and in what fantasy universe does that mean that it’s hard? you know what’s hard? doing mythic Kil’jaeden on launch - that’s hard. 3 mobs white hitting you to death in classic because you are running out of mana or your class isn’t a mage is not hard - it’s simply time consuming
and CAN YOU IMAGINE not PuLlIng 3 MoBs AbOvE yOUr LeVel takes less than 10 IQ to achieve if you just play carefully there is nothing hard about it

Was it not no? Like never. Not even for a millisecond? Like, anyone who died in the open world, since forever, only died because…??? (game got hard for a little bit? Maybe? Perhaps? No? Still support your statement? Yeah?)…

Wow was never an open world game. It was always based on instance content. Even in pvp or pve. World content was used for chorse.
If you think slower lvling I classic and tbc made the game harder you are in the wrong it was just more dangerous since your character was so bad and didn’t have a good kit of doing stuff.
As in TWW I enjoyed the story and It was fun at stages.

While I agree that leveling was never difficult, saying that WoW isn’t and never was an open world game is reaching.

Even the “player housing” was instance based. They had a brief time in older expansion trying out open world bosses or events, but in MMO in general if the game is based outside of instance based combat you always have a side that will dominate and make the game for other players boring. So I am happy they don’t make stuff for world content outside of chorse

Nice try, Blizzard employee. Those changes cannot be justified, especially after early access.

Quest rewards 400-450 ilvl gear which means they are tuned for people that haven’t played for many expansions and are below 400 ilvl not 500.

They do though. The majority of the content that most of the playerbase mainly engages in is in the open world. Be it questing, world events, achievement farming etc.

What seems like chores to some is content to most.

No, I like it easy. Go play the other content for your challenge.

Yes that is it. It is easy chorse even if you are farming it you do it for a mount or something like that or power level of a character gear for alts. They force you to do it since it is boring after a few runs since it is easy.

We are talking about open world mate and nobody is comparing a mythic raid boss to world mobs. It can be challenging and not time consuming, instead of mowing down 100 mobs with ease why not 20 that actually build up tension and make you think before you act?

If you want hard solo content play a balance druid

I’d challenge that… When 2 murrlocs are running at you in the wetlands; you wasn’t thinking yeah I can take these by then you’d have turned around and ran like mad.

You sir did not play classic in the day.
