They won’t scrap the subscription model. It might change to XBox Game Pass.
The question is will they still allow players to buy game time with gold?
If they do or not, you will still be able to buy gold and probably other in-game currencies.
i don´t think Xbox pass has any free games like that, you have to pay their sub to gain access.
