Lets say that Blizzard decided to end Classic with WOTLK and not go into Cata (which i hope they do anyway)
What would you then do?
I created a poll to grab people’s opinions but feel free to comment here as well.
Tbh I have missed a lot of the classic stuff but im hoping to play through WOTLK and i will stay in WOTLK if classic ever progress as there’s just so much content to do

Tbh after wrath if they don’t do cata (which i would play but way more casually than classic,tbc and wrath if they released it) i would 100% ask for a SOM kind of server with new mechanics on bosses and who knows maybe classic+ maybe retail will get wiped and wow2 release (too much COPIUM)
Wotlk is the last adventure for me. Playing wow since I was 16 years old and now i’m 32 years old. God time flies and I still feel more towards 16 mentally than 32, but I gotta go on in life. I’m not quitting gaming but wotlk
Classic will be the last adventure in Azeroth for me 
They will likely go to MoP and after that it will depend. Milking Legion again? If they can then probably…
“FRESH” has a lot of hot air but limited replay-ability. Only limited amount of players will roll fresh every 2 years or so. If they manage to come up with some decent seasonal structure then maybe more.
Like I want to “test” some early progression in vanilla Classic but not really raidlog for 2 years. And aside of that I would just go play other games. No more retail unless they will uncover some new content types in Dragonfligh that will be worth it…

Why not have at least one Realm for each Expansion? Then it’ll keep those who want to play on their favourite happy.
They will do nothing, lets not forget classic came to be at 2019 because activision kept releasing failed expansions one after another, and at 2018 they had a huge dive in profit margin, and investors showed discomfort with the current situation, and they saw classic as a huge cash grab opportunity to cover up the losses or the estimated profits retail never brought on the table, thus classic came to be a thing, and started devouring retail most of us still remember the /yell from hostile faction “G0 B4cK t0 R3T4IL” because that is what it was… expansions living under the name of the legend, a grandson living under the shade of grandfather and only getting carry so far only by respect in his grandfather name, that turned into a ghost of the past that still haunts wow up to date. But regarding to what they will do… there been an announcement that they are working on a survival MMO, name and details unknown since 2019, and most likely they will try to drive/force all wow community into it, classic and retail altogether. Conclusion when you have a stalker from the past you do no put the life tube on it… you just try to kill it.
I will probably be fairly burnt, it’s a couple of years away , probably would need a break from wow for a while. I’d be down to do another round of classic about 5-10 years after the end of wrath

If they release a survival MMO and force everyone to go there, then some of us will go back to pservers, where the Classic community will 100% survive!
Pserver? pass. Im just done with wow and activision-blizzard if they do that wich in fact they will, and moving to another game company and mmo.
Which I would understand completely and have your back 100%.
Some of us come from the pserver community though and remain here b/c of ERA. In fact, I consider it as an unintended gift from Blizzard to us who love the game and who also organically are seeing a thriving community in a non “whats the next big thing” dynamic develop. Unintended, b/c Blizzard couldnt give a damn about this happening.
Take that from some of us, we will go back to where we started b/c of the love of the original game.
But yes, people like you have every right in the book to say f this and go somewhere else. Thats unquestionable at this point.
I hope for a restart. Would love to do vanilla->wrath all over as horde.
