After doing some testing it seems like a ninja fix was applied on this week’s maintenance.
Made a bug report already, told every friend and their mother to bug report this cause this is a major issue.
I just want this to get as much attention as possible as I can’t find anything about the topic.
I bet my fellow orc friends and even alliance rogues have noticed they barely ever resist a stun in world PvP or even in PvE situations.
Orc stun resist racial is broken in a major way. Hardiness should increase the chance to resist stun effects by 25%. In reality, it is more like 5-10%.
Shows us the log of 100 attempted stuns and your sub 30% stun resist. In my wPvP and through watching 100s of horde duels on twitch, it appears to be working fine.
Believe me it’s not broken. Many times I used my HoJ on even low level orcs and they resist a lot. I think it’s your perception that you should resist all stubs or most, but that is not the case. Most stubs should land of course. You just have a higher chance to resist. I can have 80% Crit chance and have 0 crits in one fight but have loads of them in other fights. Same goes with this. You might resist 10 stuns in a row, but just as many could land if unlucky. You are probably actively thinking about it when somebody stuns you and you probably don’t even notice stuns resisting when it happens.
yeah i was on horde side and saw orks logic
“uh oh i’ve just fought an alliance rogue and he kept me stunlocked 24/7, racial is bugged because i thought i would resist every second stun”
Biased much.
Presumably, you’ve rolled an orc just for that one racial in order to ‘resist every stun in the game’ and after having being stunned once in your 1-60 journey you decided to moan about it on the forums?
Okay, I think for anyone to start believing you, can you apply some scientific method, and then link your findings. I want a record of lev 60 vs lev 60, over 100 non missed / dodged stuns and substantially less than 30% resists, to even consider this.
