Orc racial busted and anti fun

It is relative, those aged mechanics for me are a must.
Racials add depth to the rpg aspect of the game, what was the main thing back then and one of the most relevant aspects, that should attract people to experience this 15 years old game.
The game wasn’t designed around balance and much less around min maxing classes or speccs.

Who is playing this with a e-sport like mindset, is playing it wrong and probably planned to invest thousands of hours in a game that has encyclopedias of info available, without research the basics of it.

Oh so I dont know what am I talking about…but you say tauren is useless in pvp? What about taurens +5% HP extra, what about their War Stomp, NE hunter shadowmelded while waiting for poor UD mage/warlock and then bang aimed shot from nothin incoming …huge advantage.
Man, I’m pvping a lot and I don’t even have to use berserking in fights.
So no…seems I don’t know nothing about it.
Plus one more thing…in “reality” one orc warr would kill one human warr easily, no? They twice more muscular than Arnold Schw., that’s why should be more OP than humans. And classic WoW is build on reasnable points in everything (rogue poison charges, needing candles and nuts for buffs etc etc… everything was having sense). That’s why it is okay by me, that’s why I don’t cry as kid and that’s why I learned how to pvp even without racials with other races I like. I choose race what I like…not for what racial it has.

Once you start changing things its no longer vanilla, and there would be no end to changes and improvements.

Is the Orc racial broken ? 100%, but so are a ton of other abilities. Vanilla is not balanced and it never was, im not defending it I was just very much aware what I was getting myself into.

Tauren is indeed one of the worst picks, yea. 5% extra hp can synergize nice with a druid tank in pve but in pvp it is insignificant compared to hardiness or berserking even. War stomp can be nice for a shaman to get a 1.5s cast off but they can already do that with grenades. Shadowmeld breaks when you start a cast.

I’m not suprised you don’t have to use it as world pvp is greatly favoured for the attacker and you play on a relatively low pop server.

Sure a orc would win 1v1 with wow-universe realism, however humans would win through quantity then and intelligence, especially with the technological advantage gnomes and dwarves would provide.

You can’t teach a rogue or paladin to play around hardiness when they so heavily rely on stuns.

It is kind of a museum
Stop trying to bring in changes, now it’s an orc nerf tomorrow it’s a storemount

Corrected it for you…

tend to open up on orcs with garrote, missing the cheap shot is just too big a swing to risk it.

You can play around hardiness as a rogue, just spend your energy on burst, not on stuns, you can outdps most classes this way. Against warriors, just kite them. Getbyourself some faps and your ag good against orc rogues. There is a way to deal with every situation in pvp especially as a rogue.

If you open with garrote, ss, ss, thistle, ss, ss, evis you’ve probably done enough to win the fight right there.

Found a ganking Rogue^^

Think you can sap into cheapshot - if you miss CS the sap doesn’t break.

Either way, I spent ages considering Orc vs Undead. Warlock PvP trinket doesn’t break stuns, and with engineering being such a big part of the meta this time around I went with Orc, even if I prefer the look of the undead.

Just not sure if you cheap shot you auto attack straight after,

stay at 90 degree to the target, so you wont autoattack but abilities are possible to use
Same for sap > garrote + rupture trick

Its funny to even read it - alliance rogues need this to tryhart to counter nobrainer orks meanwhile horde rogues just keep their ssnatdart stun serie with poker face.

valid point, cheers for the tip.

Its a museum not a game!

It really doesn’t. Nobody apart from hardcore raiders and wannabe hardcores cares about selecting min/max race. Normal players play whatever they prefer.

Ask for classic, when they get it they moan and want it changed.

Moan about retail because it’s not like classic and has been changed to much.

It dose make you wonder some times what goes on in peoples heads

Always a funny argument when a horde player claims horde premade wins all the time from ally premade and Ally player claims ally premade wins from horde premade XD

How could blizzard possibly change anything like that now the game is out already, give your head a wobble lol.

Adapt yourself or leave. If these “changes people” would get through all the changes they want, I wondering what would be left of the Classic?
