I like killing orcs as rogue because it means I’m better than them and even with stun res they are still my little dungeon b.

It’s a unique and fun experience, and it is horribly balanced. And nobody who appreciates vanilla pvp cares.

That’s not the opposite.
It’s an opposite perspective. Rather than “horde racials op” it’s “dwarf racials op”. Which seems pretty opposed to me.

I wanted Classic, not some “everything is fair and square and bland” rehash of BFA. And yes, I’m a NIGHT ELF ROGUE, as disadvantaged as it gets!
I do hate Orc stun resist chance, but I don’t want it gone. Racials matter. Choices matter.
I’m a Nelf so I can safely eat out of stealth. UD have it easier vs locks and priests. Orcs have it easier vs stunners, etc. It’s an adventure, not an esport.

Ok, i accept that I am not pro and will never be because I am simply not very good at PvP, but I took female orc to have at least the most optimal advantage (on paper) I could find.
Same reason I have a male tauren warrior.
sigh Shadowmeld with aimed shot. When you cast it from SM, you appear visible when half of aimed shot is casted, or pet almost on enemy. Just imagine…found herb, see nobody is around, try to pick it and in another second take like thousand damage without knowing where it came from.
War stomp also for druid regrowth, reju, roots?
I was attacked so many times when peacefully running and doing quests, very rarely I used berserking. Never had feeling I need to boost myself more cuz I know my class. When I played other classes in my memories, I never cried that undead used wotf, human used perception (did I wrote it right?) and saw my rogue…it is simply as it is. Maybe just I’m the only one who is okay with it…it is as it is, and in my opinion I think only people who don’t know their class and how to deal with others solve this as biiiiig probleeem and unfaaair advantage.
I can’t teach them…I just say “deal with it”, it is as it is, blizz had some vision that orcs are in some realistic way harder to stun and it makes sense to me. If they have higher resist, then they should think up diffirent strategy. More poison, bleed damage, more burst damage, call help when we have mmorpg and orcs are tougher than little humans (logically)…just something diffirent than “eh, Im rogue, I must only stun, omg orcs resist to stuns, I go cry to forums to change it”…

I know, I am a filthy casual, with my main being a human warlock. Funny thing, I actually know how to pvp and wasn’t that much hindered by racials, but thats mainly because most people don’t. This whole racial discussion is busted, that said, orc racial is both broken and braindead, around the level of human racial in wotlk. Just play what looks cool…btw I don’t buy that tauren warriors are better than orcs, in fact they aren’t unless you like the bigger range and the too big char model (that is a real disadvantage, at least in arena, thats why they often mod their game to change the textures of the tauren).
I hope horde players would feel the same when WOTLK comes out and humans get EMFH (every MAN for himself).

There won’t be alliance by then, and therefore no classic though. The real issue we have is faction balance, not racials (its VANILLA after all, no arena to truly theorycraft).
there would be plenty alliance in the cities spamming bgs because we would have no queue unlike hordies who would have hour long queues.
Also I know that was a joke but 1% if it wasn’t man is another word for Human and not just for the gender.

yeah true. I hope they would let us transfer our characters into later expansions so people who stick with a faction would have advantage over those despicable people.
If the different races don’t have different traits, then what’s the point of having different races to begin with?

racials are kind of a joke at this point though, you can always spot a tryhard in every expansion via them. Here the undeads have the honor, especially considering that orc is better yet tryhards still roll UD. Same in wotlk where everyone mindlessly rolls human, even if there are other options/realm doesn’t even have the trinkets out.
You know, I’ve seen a lot of #changes threads in these forums and some of them were actually semi-decent, like new graphics toggle button or removing leeway & spellbatching or implementing “bad luck protection” for quests…
But to open a thread asking for a direct change to a racial because you don’t like it… Well, all I can say is “f^ck off”.
If rogues don’t want their stunlocks to be resisted by orc warriors, then maybe they can open with Garrote + Rupture? Maybe the problem isn’t the racial - it’s the sad fact that all you know is stunlocks and when one race is especially resistant to stuns, you suddenly go haywire and cannot comprehend how to proceed.

I think I actually use use Kidney Shot more often in dungeons than PvP. Cheap Shot is another matter, but I’ve been following comments in this thread and wondering when people were gonna start talking about Garrote. It’s kinda hard for the Horde to counter (Alliance have dwarves and paladins). How many people run Luffa, really?
