Orc warlock or gnome warlock?

I wasn’t able to play nearly as much as I wanted to, due to IRL issues recently. I probably lost tons of fun opportunities since what matters the most is the launch but whatever, things are what they are I guess

I’m trying to pick between a gnome or an orc warlock anyways:

-being orc means I get stun resist, which is really insane for a warlock since our trinket doesn’t dispell it (it works against rogues, warriors, paladins, druids, spriest (blackout), mages, hunters, grenades, tidal wave and so on. just an amazing racial in general). Being horde, I won’t have to deal with 50% of the players having wotf, with devouring plague, shadow guard, shamans purging my void sac, grounding my spells, interrupting me every 6 seconds with earth shock, warriors wielding windfury totem, plus paladins are not a big deal for locks.

-Being alliance means I don’t deal with paladins cleansing my dots, and I’ll have a better time in pve when it comes to threat, it’s not something trivial. Paladins are also an awesome support for warlocks in pvp. Also, shamans are quite easy to shut down with curse of tongues in 1v1 (although they’re a pain in group pvp)

What do you guys think?

Since you wrote a whole lot more for Horde I suggest you go Orc.

Now you need to choose realm.

I dont see anything about appearance.

What you’re talking about doesnt matter in the slightest when youre at 20+ days played

Ah, well if you have to talk about the appearance, then to me female orc locks look way better than gnomes of any kind (I love female orcs in general)

I kind of exaggerated a bit but it is basically true, the benefits from the racials aren’t noticed all the time but your appearance always is.

I was a gnome warlock, it was pretty nice but it sucked when I started to get epic gear and it was on such a tiny body.

Alliance for PvE, Alliance has 1/3 less warlock players than Horde which means more gear and easier time in raids due to blessing of salvation

Play orc warlock on noggenfogger pvp thats what i do! One time a pala use hammer on me resist and dots bye bye fear away and get that sweet kill lol.

Couple of months ago I was in the same boat as u are… decided I dont really care about racials. Yes, sometimes, maybe, they might have an edge over you, but thats like 5% of the 1v1s won because of racials anyway. Remmember, in the real (online real) world, no everything is ideal all the time.
I went female human, because thats the one I find most appealing to look at.

Fun fact, the wotf I was most scared of doesn’t even bother me, because 95% of the undeads sort of panic in a pvp and use it when I hit them with DeathCoil (3 sec fear), which I use only to be able to cast my real fear. In the end they dont do the whole 3 secs, they do like 1.5, and another 1.5 to run back to me, which is more than enough to get my fear running and they are out of wotf.

Bottomline - screw the racials, pick what u like visually, or in this case - the cities u feel most comfortable in, SW or Org.
