Should I go horde (orc) to pvp as a warrior or alliance (human)? In other words, will I regret not rolling alliance because of paladins and their cleanse and freedom which enable them a lot, or will I regret not rolling horde because of hardiness and windfury and the burst of ele shamans which are all super fun? To be honest I’d tend to give the priority to fun than to being “super” viable or efficient or something, and the horde playstyle with windfury and the burst of shamans sounds more fun than the defensive playstyle of paladins, but maybe I’m wrong with this analysis? Maybe it’s actually more fun to pvp in conditions that allow you to go ham all the time?
I’m not rolling gnome or dwarf btw, I know they’re great in pvp but can’t stand these races visually.
I’ve played both orc and human warrior in Classic. While shamans and windfury are fun, I had way more fun playing alliance with a paladin as a pocket healer due to their toolkit and them not running out of mana as quick and they are harder to kill then shamans in a pvp environment.
Shamans are great, but it’s way easier to find a good paladin then a good shaman in my experience. Will you regret rolling any of them? I don’t think so, although “fun” is subjective, I find the utility of a paladin way more fun for me personally.
Lastly, my guess is that BG queues will still be alliance favored.
