As we’re playing a Wrath based on patch 3.3.3 which was implemented in June 2010 (Only ICC and Ruby Sanctum, Quest Helper map, RDF and other details missing) it is quite a different experience from OG Wrath. We have a lot of what people call Quality of Life improvements, which I call dumbing down and unnecessary streamlining and making players more OP.
So for me Wrath Classic feels different, and not as fun as OG Wrath did.
The first time you have a chance at the top is the second one you get a free pass and you can go on your way back and then go to your car to go back to your house to pick it out or go back and then go to my car to pick up your truck so I don’t have a lot to go back and then I have a car and then I’ll be there so I don’t know what time you get there so you don’t need me there so I don’t know what to say to your house or anything but you know I can come and get it if you’re going back to the car so I don’t have a lot to say goodbye and I can go to your car and you don’t know if you’re not going back or if you’re not going out of the house is that you’re going back or what time you’re not going out and then you’re going back and you have a lot more money and you have a car so
no RDF, Naxx +30% buff HP still ez, interface and techincal stuff, addons addons addons, players skill
Did you play wotlk arena?
Wotlk had DKs pre nerf
Wotlk DKs had rng stun on Death and Decay
Wotlk hunters had rng stun on explosive shot
Wotlk had ring of valor with fire that could literally kill you and rng pillars
Wotlk ferals had even more obscene crits on ferocious bite
I was wondering what happened with integrated “questie”… Any ideas why they haven’t implemented it?
I feel like there are bugs since day 1 that have not been addressed…
Same reason they haven’t unlocked the servers yet.
The one intern they have working on the project broke his finger from picking his nose.
I highly doubt they invest so many people into wotlk. The interns are probably cleaning the yatchs.
Nah nah, poor fella is doing an unpaid internship, they can afford it!
Cracked me up
Lack of time and or skill.
Ok but are you agreeing or disagreeing with my statement?
Also, there was an armory. Since vanilla tbc
Raiding was more fun for sure.
Back in the day we didn’t use universally approved guides, we figured the mechanics on our own or used some YouTube video guide with Children of Bodom and 240p resolution.
There were no BiS lists, not many players visited Elitistjerks, and people had to figure stuff on their own. I maxxed Spirit on my Holy Priest, nowadays you will hardly see a Holy Priest in a raid, and they will be fully +int most likely.
There were no minmaxed raid comps, we brought people we had. DPS meters existed, but no one paid attention to relative DPS. For example, if DK would do 6k DPS back then, he would be respected, because he would be at the top of everyone else. Nowadays it’s poor DPS (assuming you are bis or close ofc).
People had less addons and less tuned interface.
And of course, people cared about raid completion rather than parses.
This is why I quit wotlk classic - game is not played the same way and now I cba anymore.
I believe that the changes are good thing.
This expansion has been out since 2009, introducing some balance changes is a good thing as it destroys previous metas. Maybe we’ll see new classes being the top dogs on 3.4+. Who knows.
It wasn’t.
Same bugs exist nowadays too.
Tell me / us how those useless item+mount bundles make this one better?
Or Blizzard’s decision to ruin alchemy?
Or Blizzard’s decision not to add RDF at all, not even in ICC patch like it came back in the days?
What are these balance changes that’ll destroy metas? Where are they?
As a DK player, nerfing some of our def CDs is a balance change.
