It would be very cool to introduce new content for Classic Era such as Scarlet Crusade Raid. Seen this suggestion many times, and even asmongold brought it up

There are many ideas surrounding Classic
- Should it always be the same with no changes?
- Should the idea of Seasons continue?
- Should there be additional originally-scrapped content in vanilla?
- Should we restart the expansion cycle again? (Aka going back to TBC again)
Personally, I’m in favor of everything! They’re all cool ideas, but I know that require a lot of resources and I don’t think any of us want to open the launcher and find around 5-7 versions of WoW in front of us waiting.
Henceforth I think it’s best that Era remain the same for people who would like to explore how WoW used to look like (Retail players who didn’t touch it yet, or pure new players who didn’t play WoW before and want to play an old-school MMO) In addition to new seasons to Classic-Era.
No. My thread is about restarting Vanilla Fresh and bringing new content for vanilla. No TBC. It requires almost no ressources to make content for a game with such bad graphics, etc in 2023.
I think I speak for many people, if I say, that vanilla > tbc&wotlk.
Maybe they could also give ret paladins crusader strike

You are wrong about this, it takes quite a few departments working together.

jagex did went for that and It worked wonders for them. see if blizzard is willing to learn from it…

as someone who had almost 20k hours played in OSRS before quitting, hopefully that model never happens with WoW. It worked in the beginning 1-2 years of the game when it was the real “old school” version of the game and then over time the game was ruined by trash reddit tier updates voted in by clueless ppl.

well classic+ will lead into even more scattered community. As for me Scarlet Crusade sounds nice idea I would hate play another retail expansion trying to look as classic anyways.
So eventually I would not even give try to it. Yet what I love about ERA, that its frozen in time and I can do content whenever I like to, and play bgs all day night not needed to ratrace anymore in pve or pvp for endgame gear.
I dunno why you guys think that classic+ would be classic+ and not classic retail+. It just doesnt give sense at all.
Eventually you could ask for next retail expansion be like classic+ with all races and stuff and dont mess with classic as it is. As most players play it for what it is, not for what it could be. Including Asmogold who just need another motivation to play wow, and then leave it once again :P.
Couldn’t agree more. Classic is a timeless masterpiece. This is why it has withstood the test of time like no other game.
When I see the Mona Lisa, I do not think of a Mona Lisa+. When I listen to Mozart, my head doesn’t long for Mozart+. Classic WoW is this good, no other game can match this at this scale.

I would also like Mozart were alive and composing music.
But I wouldn’t trust a modern composer tinker with his work.
Specially if that modern composer’s name is Blizzard. Blizzard no Mozart man.
They could open an office in Poland for example. Lots of programming talent there, who have the right mentality to create classic content. I agree, that they couldn’t do it with their team in california
