No I don’t, I just don’t see paid transfers as the magic solution that will fix everything.
Faction imbalance was always going to be an inevitability (50:50 or 45:55 at least would be the desirable numbers), that’s just a fact of vanilla WoW, but what we have right now is bonkers and spoils it for everyone.
We’ve seen what happens when you add paid transfers over the years, dead servers, servers that have been hopelessly unbalanced for years and servers that became so densely packed that they started using phasing and sharding to make them even slightly playable.
I want a solution and there is bound to be one eventually, but as it stands paid transfers would be the worst solution.
Why not just allow one-way faction changes within the server from higher to lesser populated faction?
All people would stay on the same server could keep their names etc…
Worst thing that could happen theoretically is that everything stays as it was if nobody uses this service (which wouldnt be the case for sure…)
It definitely would affect daction imbalance positively since many players would be willing to change factions
Im sick of outnumbering every group etc. its just boring, i would transfer to alliance immediately. I would rather take into account to be in the lesser populated fsction than in the higher one.
Its good for both factions and the whole game
Server transfers are senseless and dont change imbalances, they just shift problems as overall there are much more horde on pvp servers
Horde have to be encouraged to switch to alliance
True, i definitely will quit if it goes on like this and im really looking forward to queue 1h for a BG and then run into a 5min premade loss to queue for another hour

I think all the ganking of people trying to lvl from 48-60 is what will make the faction imbalance worse tbh. Cause this mainly hurt the minor faction. If you cant even reach 60 or play the game, then you will just quit after a while if there are no transfers.
The faction imbalance is getting worse and worse as we speak even without payed transfers cause of this, just watch and see

Im dealing with the same issue . Server had a free FCM and is dead now. I want to transfer my char to a different server to play with friends. At this point im just gonna cancel my subscription. Its up to you Blizzard…
