I can’t hear you over the awesomeness of being a Floof.
You mean, another paywall other than the subscription?
Ok. How about the fact that top guilds spend 150+ mil gold on BOEs to get those world firsts? Not p2w?
As for the goldfarming part, sure we can argue about what farming means, but let’s not and just call it goldmaking.
When you pay for BOEs with the gold you made here and there, you are, well, paying.
So the first part of p2w is clear.
Now we can argue about what winning means, but that’s easy, and equally skilled player decked out in 226 BOE gear will kill more players in arena or bgs than one who is in HC gear or less. Same goes for pve, he will do more dps, have more health, so a higher key or extra bosses in raids are possible.
Again, comparing players of equal skill level.
Saying this isn’t true is saying gear does not matter in wow, which is utter nonsense. If it weren’t, you would not buy BOEs in the first place, no?
Contrast all this to the system we have in place where gear is awarded based on the difficulty of the completed content.
You really see no difference between someone who downed mythic bosses and got gear drips vs someone who paid gold for them (nevermind where that gold came from) ?
I mean, my personal opinion about BOEs doesn’t matter at all here, there is a clear difference between the difficulty of the content…
The simple fact that class changes are not available in the cash shop by now can lead to just one conclusion: your class is hard coded into the game in such a way that makes it impossible to change.
I am convinced that if it was possible, it would be featured in the store.
nope it does not work like that sorry, here pay means real world money and that criteria is not made.
so unless you can take your wow gold and go down and buy your grosseries(please tell where that is if you can as that seems like the place i want to shop) the most important part of p2w is not meet.
now the guilds running in the world first race are playing on a different level then most others and on a field where the small extra amount of boost helps.
buying the BOE’s with ingame gold means that it is not pay to win and any BOE can only be bought if someone is willing to sell it as blizzard is not selling the boe.
but im guessing you know this and are just trolling as you are so way off the meaning of the sayings.
no i dont as the boe is still sold by someone that somehow has been able to join a group that has killed at least 1 boss on mythic to get the option to kill mobs for the boe(unless you will kill around 40 mobs per hour and hope for the best and then to be fair the share amount of farming and time investment for that is insane) so no matter how someone got the boe i dont care(assuming it was gotten within the rules of the game).
No
/10char
The main thing that keeps me from permanently changing my main char is that reputation progress isn’t account shared. I just can’t be arsed to do it all over again. 16 years of WoW…
But power for… what? Content you can already buy boosts for with Tokens? If people want to “win” they can just buy the boost instead of the class change.
People saying this is “P2W” are beyond ludicrous… meanwhile in FF14 you can change classes on the fly.
Those so concerned of “fotm” rollers… just give it a 6-12 month cooldown between eligibility to change. This would be great for long time mains to change classes imo, retaining all their progress.
That would be awesome to get that… it has been free glad ranks for rogue warr firemage boomkin so why shouldnt i get it too
This is exactly how I imagine a rog or dh players sounds like. Crying for unreal things when his class isn’t op anymore and can’t faceroll.
Dhs were never op mayby in open world pvp and mythix+ they were decent. If you lost a dh its l2p issue
Getting carried isn’t winning.
You have to develop all the jobs in order to be able to swap into them. OP is asking to basically get a new, geared and kitted class without putting any time into it. In ArcheAge you can also level up all skill trees completely and change your class on the fly. But you still need to put in the time to level up the skill trees.
