Hello guys, which spec would I be better in for levelling in TBC and WOTLK?
Prot or retri? Better leveling in dungeons or do quests?
Sorry for silly question. Thank you for attention.

In my personal experience I would say retri doing quests and the occasional dungeon when you pick up some quests for a specific one.
But it really depends on your playstile and what you think is fun.
Retribution gets a massive and needed facelift in wotlk, which make them fun and not needing sealtwist to be viable.
I hear protpal AOE leveling is fast and better than retri, is it true?
And how compare quests with farming only dungeons?
U can try both how about that?
I don’t have enough gold to try both specs, I’m new on Firemaw and it’s my first character.
So I asked ppl who know/leveling as paladin for their experience.
If u start from level 1 then there’s not much to try since u can’t choose the talents that will really define your gameplay until level 40 - 60. By that time u will have enough gold.
If u buy a boosted character, then doing a few Quest will make u enough gold to change spec a few times.
Thank you for your advice. Are you leveling as retri or prot? Interested in your opinion.
Prot, but that is because im already fully geared (70 on another character) and because I want to tank on 80 anyways.
I love Paladin in whole World Of Warcraft class.
For quests / dungeons i should rather
In overall i like most Prot than Retri, but you will get Divine Storm as aoe in retri Pre-patch WoTLK.
Seems very easy to level from 70 onward as Prot Pala solo in Kara and other dungeons, but it depends what your preferred spec is.
Ret also seems like a lot of fun on PTR and better if you plan on questing/dungeoning with other players
Retri for questing, prot for dungeons as they get them quicker. I thought this was a no brainer?
