I think not being able to get Blessing of Sanctuary and Consecration, as that will require level 41 is a bit of a let down. AoE tanking as paladin is so much fun in classic.
I really hope some of the new runes will offer somthing to allow this. It would be amazing IMO to see a rune that just gives one extra talent point to spend. Like a Divine Tomb of Knowledge.
Anyone else had this on there mind when looking at talents for phase 2?
It is an excellent idea ! In the same way, Wind serpent does not have its 4th rank of Lightning Breath before lvl41, a rune to remedy this would be a great idea! I’m sure the WoW community would be delighted.
casters lack major spell ranks in every level bracket talents are balanced around max lvl content so i guess you have to chose with pala tank what spec to run im sure it will be pretty good in the end especially if the raid trash mobs are on the power level of the ones in bfd any class has no problem of taking a few hits from them its not like its MC or BWL trash mobs
As a pala Tank the setup possibilities are a letdown.
You can go full prot (which isnprerry cool tbh) if you wanna feel like a human turtle.
But concentration is unreachable until lvl 60. even at lvl 50 you are missing 1 point…
The other option would be to go hybrid, which is not very clever when the lvl 40 talents are that strong.
Basically if they do not push the boss damage we will go full retri and be good at tanking, dps, pvp, farming and everyone is mad.
I actually wanna be a real pala tank, with sword and shield, and don’t want to do overpowered dmg but have conc as my main aoe ability… Devine storm is just better with a two-handed weapon… it is a bit frustrating…
Currently Consecration is already pretty mediocre for aoe tanking. Without proper knowledge of the new runes we wont know what is gonna be the best setup. Maybe holy shield with a slow 1h for divine storm is gonna be good.
You good? Ret paladins went from being terrible to being viable, prot paladin went from being terrible to being viable. They were literally picked from the gutter and was made into a proper class. So yes, they got the biggest boost. People are treating 25 as endgame anyways, cant please idiocy
Being delivered from buff dispenser hell is indeed a decent boost and one sorely needed. We were brought from a 1 trick class to an actually playable one.
Mind you this doesn’t mean we’re actually op in either spec. It means we can actually play anything but a buff dispenser
As a warrior you have 0 right to be complaining about other classes,
phase 1 warriors along with rogues are topping meters and it only going to get crazier with scaling and level 40 talents, oh probably new runes as well,
quick your whining and enjoy your class that is far ahead of most other classes.
yes, im topping bfd in an entry dungeon i couldnt care less about. im useless in solo, and no premades will take me in because i bring 0 utility to the team, and I need multiple classes to boost my dps. but keep focusing on the entry dungeons XD
Is this your first time playing classic? Becasue you seem surprised that warriors have little utility? That warriors aren’t the best at solo?
If this isnt your first time…you shouldve know better when you rolled warrior young one,
Can you imagine giving warriors utility and more abilities to boost the classes solo potential, on top of being one of the best damage dealers in the game, wouldnt be much point playing any other class
So that being said lets go back to paladins, YES they have a lot of utility, however,
You make it seem like warrior is this godly class that can do everything when in reality all they can do is top an entry dungeon. There is more to the game than just parsing in BFD. Every class has its flaws.
