People need to understand that the game is NOT balanced around level 25 and certain classes lack all their tools to be able to do their role good while other have it far more easy on this level cap.
On top of that we have the runes to play around with, just give it time and try to enjoy the game for what it’s offering and enjoy the journey towards level 60 and unlocking more new runes in the future. Who knows what the future will look like with all the runes etc.
That didn’t stop the crybabies from screaming to nerf the hunters every time they let themselves be killed by his pet without reacting or hallucinated to see that a hunter DARED to beat them in pvp.
I am afraid the only cloth wearers you’ll find in bg are mostly bubbled priests and metalocks with high armor. So no one shoting in this meta at least.
While I still stick with my reasoning there are some things that need to be addressed and hunters was one of them. Maybe they over nerfed them, maybe they didn’t time will tell but something I believed had to be done.
Yes, some things needed to be reviewed, Explosive shot did too much damage, but it should never have been transformed into a useless AoE, result? A lost rune.
Chimera shot nerf? No one complained, the damage was average at best, and yet nerfed, why? Rune without interest now.
Lone wolf nerf before SoD launch? This rune nerfs the hunter’s damage now, another rune lost.
Yes, the scalling of the scorpids and the Wind Serpent needed to be reviewed, nothing to complain about there.
But for the rest? No rune brings anything new, Flanking strike at 30s CD and raptor strike only has a 20% chance of resetting it, which means that it almost never happens. I’m not even going to talk about the rest as the choice of useful runes is so poor. Without AotL the hunter would have virtually been an ersatz of Vanilla. And regarding AotL it’s a poisoned gift, this rune is so essential that it de facto makes all other choices in torso slot useless.
What are you trying to say? I’ve a different opinion from you, deal with it. I still think that Paladins/Shamans are exclusive to one side among many other things is what makes Classic WoW so special to me and I am sure for so many other players.
If you want retail things, go play retail. And besides the developers themselves have mentioned they have no interest in adding new races for classes or give Paladins/Shamans to both sides because that make no sense for Classic.
I myself is not playing a hunter so I cannot comment if this was the right move or not other than sometimes they will need to do adjustments like this.
Now whether or not that is the right move, it’s up for more experienced players to determent and inform Blizzard.
First of all, you can make a point without calling me stupid or parrot. Secondly, adding Paladins & Shamans for both sides is one of MANY things that occurred back in the days which slowly but steady gave us retail that is today which no one plays.
I wonder why you don’t play retail where you have this and MUCH more? Or can it be that you hate retail of what it has become and now you want classic to turn out like that too? I am sorry but I hope that they never introduce these classes to both sides in classic seasonal but time will tell.
Yes they exist in vanilla I am not saying that they don’t obviously… But they DIDN’T exist in both factions in vanilla, and to me everything that came after classic vanilla is a part of retail to some extent due to the changes already started to occur slowly but steady with TBC that removed the classic experience with each expansion more and more.
Again, you want to play an alliance shaman so badly, go play retail or classic wotlk. Let classic and classic season of discovery be it’s own thing.
For what? You told me that I can’t accept your opinion but it looks you can’t accept mine as well. I respectfully said my opinion and why I think it’s bad for classic and also season of discovery.
You are the one who is calling me names and similar things like that, and can’t accept that other may disagree with you. Besides, you have not 1 but 2 different version of WoW where you can play your alliance shaman. I suggest you go play one of those two and leave classic to be classic.
Alliance already has tremor and winfury. Ele and VS burst will not be that far off from what any other class can do. You’ll probably see comps similar to TBC.
The only wildcard I see is potentially tank shaman.
Currently, shamans as a whole feel very lackluster. They’re ok as a FC i guess. AS cucks any FC though.
and when shamans tanks gonna do instant chainlightning + shock a.k.a oneshot:
What Labradors(paladins) gonna do for the alliance?
These new skills by runes are imagined in a world with both classes in both factions
I keep position, SoD (even Era) need alliance’s shaman and horde’s paladin
