Ive mained my paladin since BC and i guess the main reason i default back to it is because of that fact. However, when i am in dornagal all i see is paladins!
Im starting to think i should play something new, maybe a death knight.
Is there classes you get sick of seeing all the time, is there classes you wish you seen more of. It can be for any content.

I get that and thats exactly the way you should play but it seems over saturated.
The even bigger issue is how most of those paladins are Ret spec.
Be different, and play Holy to really stand out.
Yep, most people play specs which is easiest and do good dmg.
Retri and bm perfect example for this. Why suffer with hard specs when you can faceroll easier ones.
Makes sense for me.
Are you surprised? Ret pala is by far the easiest melee spec so ofc a lot of people are going to gravitate towards it. And why shouldnt they? Its fun and big numbers.
Same goes for BM hunter.

The moment pugs acquire a functioning brain I may start considering it.
Class balance might shift massively in about two weeks when 11.0.7 launches so I wouldnât go abandoning your Paladin just yet if thatâs what you really want to play. A lot of the new Dins, and Shamans, might become mules.
ret pally and BM hunter have always been the most popular specs, theyâre super chill to play, fun and make solo content so much easier. Even if you nerf them by 30% theyâd still be the most popular specs in game due to the casual people and they donât care about parsing or pushing the hardest content.
I believe there were 11 paladins in one of my recent weekend raids 
But really, ret paladin is easy to play and strong in numbers. Prot paladin is strong in numbers and the meta tank. Holy paladin is strong in numbers, even if not meta per se.
Hard for any other class to stand up against that, tbh. Everyone else has at least 1 weak role. And if you want a good dps that isnât too hard to play, paladin is probably your top pick right now.
I donât really like the state of play, but I can see how itâs happened.
You might want to look at other classes again as you apply Holy paladin as strong then we suddenly get to the situation that most of not all classes are in the same boat.
The thing that has happened is that we have SUPER balanced dps specs at the moment everyone can be strong.
It is too late to do math at the moment but last time i heard all dps are within 10% of each other if we remove Ench shaman.

blizz thinks itâs a well balanced game xd i wish people played feral druids more that spec is very unique and interesting but itâs been so long since i was in meta or trend or whatever you want to call it
Bm is. Bm is kinda tutorial class, sorry to say. They are so plain easy to play and at the same time so meaningless.
The good thing out this spec is that i can do alot of solo content with it an even use one button rotation while i semi afk in lfr but still in the higher end of the dps list.
I am getting older too, so i dont always have time to deep dive into more interesting specs and either have the skills, so i got a handfull of bm hunters as well.
omg, i also noticed tons of druids and priests and shamans and and so many classes in the game aaaaa
I use to say that paladins have everything, all the other classes often feel like âpaladins, but without X or Yâ, so in my eyes itâs that.
Yet I main warrior.
Still, somehow. The alliance got no furry paladins.
And destro warlock fit in that bracket great fun and easy numbers and rotation.
Paladin has always been the most popular class with hunter. Itâs nothing new.
