With only 124 mounts you wouldnt know the pain we go through as collectors paragon boxes are a bad idea for mounts period.

Yea it’s SOOO exciting to get a mount from a vendor for exalted lol. Every single person who plays BFA gets those mounts in less than 2 weeks now. How is it even exciting to get a mount that literally every single player has? Do you even understand what rarity is?

its a combination of the age of the game that just through growth lots of mounts exist, and blizz also knows its a hook for people who are completionists so they add loads of reskins now. I understand what rarity is, but nothing in the game is rare as rarity relates in the real world. if rng favoured everyone on a perticular item for some strange reason, we would all have that “rare” item, thus removing its rarity. besides, this is a game. again, if we do the task, we should be rewarded. people are annoyed for not being rewarded when they have DONE the task.

I am so glad they don’t have mounts.
After months of religiously farming rep and getting nothing in legion I don’t want to do that ever again.
It was not fun at all.

Exactly. The only Legion faction that did it right was Argussian Reach, where all exalted rewards were available on the quartermaster and their paragon caches didn’t contain any collectibles.

Seems like it unfortunately. I hope at least those toys and pets don’t have the disgustingly low drop chances like Legion paragon drops so farming them separately on both factions wouldn’t be a massive pain.

How exactly is that a good thing?

Paragon drops aren’t the same thing as that rare mount/pet/toy/transmog which drops from a certain raid or dungeon boss. For raid and dungeon drops you simply clear them on daily/weekly lockout and hope that you’ll get it. Paragon caches aren’t like that, you keep grinding 10k rep for those after you get exalted with that faction, then you get a chest which has a really low chance of having what you want. Most of the time it doesn’t have what you want, which only adds up to disappointment and frustration as it means you’ve just thrown away that 10k rep along with the time and effort you’ve put into grinding it. That’s not a good thing for the game or player, not at all.

No, just because you try doesn’t mean you should be rewarded. Some mounts are harder to get than others and that’s fine and it makes them more valuable. If you try hard enough you will get them.

Like I said earlier, increasing the chances for the mounts from paragon chests was a much better solution than just completely removing it from the game because mount collectors can’t stop crying over not having their legion paragon mounts yet.

If you are doing emissaries anyways, the rep will just add up automatically, Getting a mount is just a bonus reward. Nothing negative about it.

I presume it’s still available, it’s like my only venture into hearthstone. Never darkened it’s door again. Bit like HotS. Went there for the mount, did the necessary and uninstalled :joy:

Actually paragon chests have a higher chance of dropping and are much easier to get than 1% raid or dungeon bosses. You can do missions, world quests everyday and get them more often than you are able to clear a raid once a week. You are also doing current content which is newer and more exciting than a content from years ago which is super dull.

The irony that I farmed and got more of those boss mounts than I got paragon mounts during Legion.

The thing tho is that people think since it’s in the game it must be mine or all hell must break loose.

No mounts in the paragon chests just means that I won’t bother doing them. I only did them in Legion for the mounts and there is nothing else currently in game that I consider to be an incentive. It’s just a disappointment to me and another reason why I think my time in this game is over and done.

So sad that you didn’t get every mount from literally one expansion ago, must be hard on you.

not having any mount in them is a good thing. it means people can spend their time doing actual content. WQ are not content. They do nothing to progress your character. it’s been nearly two years since I’ve been farming rep fr the cloudwing hippogryph, and still no luck. I rather do a raid on .lockout once a week with a very small percentage for the enxt 10 years this paragon mounts.

That’s everything negative about it. I still don’t have 4 of the Legion paragon drops (2 mounts, 1 pet and 1 toy) despite doing them every day. And not just doing the emissary either, I was clearing every single world quest on the map, every day, just to be able to try my chances at getting a drop which was supposed to be available on the vendor at exalted rep.

I did them when they were current content, world quests, emissaries, missions, you name it. The problem is, I’m still doing them despite they no longer are the current content, yet I’m still missing so many of those.

So what do you think is better? Increasing the chances to something like 10% or removing it completely from the game?

At some point, it turns from enjoyment to “another 10k rep grind for nothing”

its funny how most of your mounts are gold based, or could have been bought with gold, like Argus mythic mount. you have some rng mounts, but not many, especially when compared to the gold based mounts. again, if you do the task, you should be rewarded, or else why should we do the task?

Neither. Removing them from paragon caches and adding them to rep vendors is the best solution. If you’ve reached to exalted with a faction, then you should have access to everything that faction has to offer from the moment you see that exalted achievement on your screen.

I wouldn’t remove paragon caches from the game either. Instead, I’d put other stuff in those (gold, resources, crafting materials, follower equipment, BoA rep tokens, augmented runes). It’d still give players an incentive to do them without screwing over collectors. Raiders can use crafting materials and augmented runes from those for progression, while players who aren’t interested in raiding can just sell those on AH to make some quick gold.
