I’ve seen a Parry bug that has happened to me lately quite a lot while doing PvP, I will give one detailed example:
- At 9:40 ST in AV I attacked a Hunter from the back while dropping from Icewing Bunker.
- They were sitting with their pet idle out of combat while observing the passage towards alliance base.
- I moved straight past them while having a queued auto attack which triggered on contact.
- The auto attack resulted in a Parry while they were facing their back to me.
My guess is that this happened because of me running past them, the auto attack triggered while my positioning was frontal and resulted in a parry.
To summarize: The auto attack was triggered from the back, but executed due to positioning from the front while I ran past the player.
- this should not be like that.
I’ve seen some way too random parries from behind lately and I think its related to batch removal as my understanding things are decided past action, not pre-action at this stage.
Seen anything similar lately?
