Patch 10.2.5 is a sign of Wow future?

That we also have less of than both Legion and BFA.

So? If you cant afford that you should reconsider working on your RL issues instead of hanging out in a game.

Also, let me remind you that the subscription for WoW has remained almost the same 12E for 20 years. During that period there has been a cumulative inflation of 66%. So those 12E should be 20E by now.

So blizz is loosing 8E with respect to 2004. ANY sensible company would want to recup that. Thats why your rent/utility costs goes up by 2% every year.

So make your choice: MORE expanions, MORE often, or just pay 20E/month for the same stuff you have been getting for the past 6 yeasr (WoD, BFA and SL).

Not legion, but WoD, BFA and SL. Your choice.

SO? I know IM really, really, tired of feelings and whatnot. Reaon why I dont do the quests. But some others maybe not. Who knows. Dont generalize your personal opinion like that.

Why is “new” any relevant here? Like what do you suggest exactly :

A) Doing like legion, where you had the SAME 13 dungeons for 2 years streight… BORING…

or,

B) Re-using some of the massive assets Blizz alredy has. Increasing the total dungeon pool to 24 unique dungeons, almost DOUBLE what legion had. And giving fresh new dungeons to do every single patch. And FYI: They are NOT a copy-paste from what they were. Go play the “classic” dungeons and you will see the massive differences.

C) Completly unrealistic: Expecting blizzard to make 24 brand new dungeons… every patch…

Propose something new and substancal. For now you have just been complaining. And paradoxically, complaining that they dont do MORE of the “same old stuff” like dungeons and raids.

They did Delves, they did follower dungeons… they are doing new stuff…

And when it comes to end-game, massive 24 dungeon pool that changes every season AND fated raids to adress end-of-expansion drought IS something unique and new. And, to be honest, refreshing…

So, you might not like that, fair enough. But you cant deny that its not “new and refreshing”. Because it is. Which was my point in earlyer posts.

YOU like to stop for a few months. MOST people dont. Myself included.

So if you dont like Fated, just do what you have always done: Stop playing.

And if you want ‘‘no woke’’ things in modern games, move to Asian mmos/rpgs, this game is US made and it is vastly dominated by people of the left, like it or not. None of us can impact that cause it is their country and choice.

Never liked them. Especially the gender dismorphia and not-so-realistic weapons and gear.

I like fantasy, but not “fighting in bikini, high heals, cat ears, and a sword as heavy as a small car” fantasy.

It wasn’t warmongering “Zug zug”-stuff, and two male characters got “replaced” by female ones, leftist conspiracy! /s

There’s no way to describe this rampantly entitled outlook without while remaining civilized.

You do understand that you can judge a product’s value without being unable to afford it right? For my money, I’m getting less content that I personally care about, compared to Legion and BFA, that’s why paying more often for shorter expansions that all have fewer major patches is to me, a very obviously garbage value. But, if you’re the type to buy store mounts and 6-month subs that never run out like a good like Blizzsumer, then this would be a good deal for you.

And let me remind you that Blizzard is monetizing the game in 50 different ways now compared to 20 years ago. They are not increasing the sub price because no one would be paying a $20 sub, they did their market research. So instead, they have been implementing scummy monetization schemes for years and years now, that all compromise the foundation of the game for more money, like store mounts, like the token, like the deluxe editions with early access.

Everyone making the “still X amount of money” argument about anything in the game industry didn’t spend 10 secons thinking about how much bigger the gaming market is now, and how many FORMS of monetization are now added on top of every game.

An embarrassing strawman argument lmao. First of all, they aren’t making 24 dungeons now either, we get 8 per season, and they only made 9 new dungeons in total. Whether they are new or not matters a hell of a lot for everyone who has been playing WoW for years, and who was doing these dungeons when they were relevant.

I expect them to make at least 12 dungeons per expansion as they did during Legion/BFA. Nothing is stopping them from recycling in older dungeons on top and remixing them during the seasons like they’re doing now, that way we wouldn’t have season 3 with TWO Dragonflight dungeons which are 2 parts of a single mega-dungeon. I can assure you that it takes more money to make Cathedral of Eternal Night than to remix Court of Stars.

Not my job to do that, I’m not being paid by Blizzard unlike their developers. I didn’t propose M+ and WQs too yet they made them and revitalized the game for years and yeras.

There’s nothing paradoxical about that, they are making less CORE content, and also making less systemic content for endgame players to engage in, in the vein of Mage Tower, Visions, or sweeping systems like M+ was. They are making world events, and random side quests that feel like they were made by completely isolated teams and people.

I had the same feeling 1 year ago so i unsub for 9 months

I see!!! :woman_facepalming:t3:

Blizzard did that on their own. Go around Dragon Isles and tell me how many straight couples you can find that explicitly mention their husband/wife/partner.

Better not proceed further. There is facebook for this kind of discussion.
Have a nice day.

Yes! Correct. And an expasion 6 months earlyer is one of those schemes.

Exept that a new expansion is not a mount and a mog on the cash shop. Its much more value for the buck.

So BRING IT! More expansions please!

How can you know the value of a 50$ expansion before playing it? Can you somehow predict the future? Do you know what 11.0.5, 11.1, 11.2 are goona be? You cant.

So stop with the philosophy of pricing products. Its just garbage and im tired of it. Spend the 50$ first and then judge if you like it or not. Its not the first time I go to some restaurant and I dont like the food.

Big deal. Cry me a river.

You have completly missed the point. What would it change if they DID 12 dungeons like in Legion? Would it change anything? NO. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING would change.

Because what blizz wanted to do is to have 8 DIFFERENT dungeons every season. So 12 would have not been enough. Not by a long shot.

So how do you do 8 NEW dungeons every season, for 3/4 seasons (8*4 = 32) ?

Well you cant make 32 new dungeons EVERY expansion. Its too many resources. So you do EXACTLY what you said:

THERE. Thats how.

So. Given that to acheive OBJECTIVE: 8 DIFERENT dungeons every season… how would 12 new dungeons helped us acheive that? NOTHING.

So maybe NOW you get it… Those 4 dungeons you dont have… thats the effort to update and balance all the revamped ones. And IMO its WORTH IT. So much better than playing the same 12 crummy dungeons for 2 years streight…

Well, say what you like. Instead of what you dislike. Start from there: I like XXX (and clearly you do because you are still here, playing) so I want more of that. DONE.

Mage Tower end game? BRO… M+/Raid/PvP have been the ONLY endgame wow has had since Legion. Stop pretending.

This and asian mmo rpgs also are so obnoxious with way too much pay to win stuff, microtransactions. Logging in and being bombarded with like 10 different events most of wich seem to be trying to lead you to the shop to buy event stuff with real money or some gacha gambling

While i do agree on the Storyline being… Not so good, i must point out that blizzard has made 10.X…5/7 patches more about small storyes and evergreen features. I saw some valid critisism regarding the Glineas questline and i do agree, it didn’t have the right amount of time to cook.
but please do note that .5 patches have been mostly focused on bringing stuff that will last for more than an expansion such as the Trading post, Augmentation spec and Dynamic flight everywhere.
Also i think the patch is more lackluster than the other .5s because it may be that some of the workers shifted to help with the production of the expansion.

Lil' spoiler of TWW content, Read at your own risk.

Don’t wait for long, With the next expansion we will get delves and i’m curious how they will turn out. if they are successful we can see new content going fowards being avaiable to everyone

Between this and waiting between 5-6 months for the next crumb of content, I’ll take this.

Yeah bc all those systems besides being borrowed gatekeep you from end game content unless youve done all the grind which is what people hated.

Im fine with working towars player power but not thru boring repetitive grinds.

You still work toward player power but thru actual fun endgame content, not doing 100 daily dailies to grind some currency.

some people will just never be happy

Yes, LITERRALLY. it’s a fantasy game called WORLD OF WARCRAFT. Not an american sitcom.
