Patch 8.3 sums up the bias of Blizzard

And the domination streak and narcism continues. Nothing new here folks.

Ah yes, proposing that she could have taken the other faction instead. How narcicistic. Almost as narcicistic as claiming someone else is a narcicist for even proposing themselves, not as an improvement, but as an alternative.

It doesen’t matter who started what since history is always written by the winning side. See the conquest and colonization of America.

WHAT. WHAT started the war. Not WHO. Seriously with your illiteracy and

I think it is clear who the real narcicist is.

And yet 10 minutes later he rallies behind Sylvanas’ war cry and proudly carries the Horde flag into battle.

Given how literally no Horde leader confronted Sylvanas about Teldrassil, not even Baine (he only went rogue after he heard of Daelin Proudmoore), hmm, yes, I do think no Horde leader cared about Teldrassil.

Also, yes, the evil Alliance invaded Zandalar and killed her father… the same father who sent many emissaries to the other troll nations in Cataclysm and declared war (Vol’jin’s dialogue outside of Zul’Aman confirms it was Rastakhan who started the war and not Zul), the same poor father who sent several troops to aid the Horde as they rampaged across Kul Tiras and targeted civilian targets.

It was Zul. The trailer was obvious.

Where did Zul get all those ships and soldiers by the way?

It was not Zul since the narrative is clear in who started the war. Rastakhan sent emissaries to the other cities, amongst them was Zul. Talanji further confirms this in BfA by mentioning how Rastakhan always found Zul’s promises of power alluring.

As we learn from Mop. Rastakhan didn’t listen to the prophecies of Zul so he said on his own and traveled around the world.

No, he disagreed with Zul only on the matter of raising the Thunder King. Also he didn’t listen to Zul’s prophecies that Zandalar would sink, which very clearly have nothing to do with Zul’s promises of a restored empire.

I mean, sure, she could have. But can you really blame her for choosing the faction who actually has other trolls among them and not like, you know, people who go by the name of “Trollbane”?
Likewise, Anduin or Shaw could have talked to her and asked what made her seek the horde’s help and maybe offer their help instead.
They obviously found her important enough to lock her away, but not important enough to talk to her?

“My father’s final act was to invoke de power of Bwonsamdi. De Zandalari are no strangers to calling upon de dead to serve us.
Yet de raising of Derek Proudmoore makes me uneasy. It reminds me of what Zul did to my beloved Rezan… a foul deed that broke my heart.
De Alliance must be brought to justice for my father’s death. But we must not let rage blind us… or make us forget de honor dat makes de Zandalari great.”

I don’t know, but that sounds to me like she’s not okay with it at all.

And exactly that is what makes this whole story so bad.
Saurfang should have challenged Sylvanas then and there, at Teldrassil, not wait until the alliance imprisoned him and Anduin could give him his lectures.
Baine should have opposed her at the siege of Undercity, but no, he acts only when family members of his personal alliance friends are involved.

But sadly, they wanted to drag out this twisted faction war story to the bitter end.

The alliance had reached their goal by destroying the Golden Fleet. Rastakhan’s murder was uncalled for, and stupid on top of that for it was what ultimately made Zandalar join forces with the horde.

I do not know.

Actions speak louder than words.

The goals were to destroy the fleet and conquer Zandalar to eliminate them as a threat, completely.

Rastakhan was not “murdered”. Murder is killing someone with unjust premeditation. The Alliance were completely justified in killing Rastakhan, he was a combatant, involved in a war against them, who was himself responsible for actual murders commited by his people in Anglepoint, who refused to surrender after being given the chance to do so, while also being an active threat to the Alliance due to his magical powers. If “murder” was uncalled for, he should never had those troops to Anglepoint. He made his bed, and now lies in it dead.

The Zandalari had already joined forces with the Horde by 8.1, as confirmed by Sylvanas in the first War Campaign quest in that patch. Killing him meant his ritual would stop, making a retreat easier, so it was a smart move.

Except that Zandalar already joined forces with the Horde before that, there is no way around this fact. Zandalari troopers and dinosaurs were attacking Kul Tiras before the Battle of Dazar’alor. Furthermore, Zandalari were keeping Kul Tiran slaves, as could be seen in one of the world quests. They were far from neutral.

In this regard I can agree with you. I never denied that many other playable races had it MUCH worse, and they never had comparable outrage going for 2 years stright.

I just wonder if it was of good quality to begin with. They had that cinematic , the racial armor, and plenty of other extras to compensate the loss that no other race has received. But I don’t think this kind of closure is anything special the difference between this and Talanji’s speech is the timing but I don’t see how it closes their issues. With that being said I wish devs were as much considerate for others.

You wish they would blow up Echo Isles?

Echo Isles have been assaulted multiple times.

By Fat’Titrans, undeads, nagas, Jaina’s forces, Kor’Kron, undeads again and Alliance again.

Try again.

Wow, I did not know that! After all those attacks, is it still standing? Is all the effort its people put into it rewarded by it still being there, or did all that emotional investment go up in literal flames?

I don’t know what’s funnier, the fact you made a kindergarten level joke, or the fact that you couldn’t spell “Tirans” right.

Or is that another poor joke?

Just stop making jokes, they are not funny.

I think the fact that they even tried is the funniest.

They might not be funny to you, but they’re funny to others. I found it funny that I got immediate reaction from you for that. :joy:
