Paying for talent change

Gonna give you personal example. When you type Leveling Prot Paladin WotLK Classic the first suggestion you find will be Icy-Veins guide that suggest getting through Protection Tree from level 10-60. It’s basically a trap as if you do that you’ll find yourself struggling with maintaining threat since your only AoE tool will be consecration which easily gets outpaced by cleave compositions. Took me extra time to seek another guide that addressed the issue. Two respecs taken but I had enough luck in my choices that my profession supplied me with enough gold for it to be non issue.

That is subjective. I play protection paladin and personally think that Improved Devotion Aura is good talent, yet most of the online builds sacrifice the extra armor and healing received for higher damage output to better maintain aggro, which still leaves you kinda uncertain on what to choose.

It’s more easier to choose the right talents for DPS than it is for tank/healer.

Two respecs are 6g. That’s nothing at level 40+ when any cleave-related issues may actually appear.

I must admit I never played paladin, but bear tanking levelling guide on wowhead served me perfectly well.

That was actually 15 gold since I also took very early Respec when I actually decided to go Prot. And would likely be a bigger issue if I wasn’t actively trying to make money of my Mining to offset the fact my loot usually ended up as a disenchant fodder.

Contrary to populair belief you do not need to be in a tank specialisation for tanking. Not when doing not so serieus fights

Well I had 5 Elemental shamans multiboxing, not needeeng healer or a tank at all, since 5 stoneclaw took taunting rotation. Worked till lvl 30-35. I think it would worked untill lvl 45-50-ish but having 5 class of the same spec ment competition for same gear.

Maybe though not taking protection Tree for Paladin would severely hamper the survival and mana considering solid part of that for Paladin comes from Blocking and Blessing of Sanctuary is locked behind Protection Tree. Stopping to drink after every major pull gets on nerves very quickly.

severely? At level 20?

Survival, less so depending on who was dispensing heals… Mana? Oh boy at level 20 that was a freaking nightmare of drinking problems. With only Consecration as AoE tool (Thanks Icy-Veins, really nice of you to never mention using Retribution tree for first 11 talents) i was tapping out of mana after any fight pull that required using it about 3-4 times…

Although to be fair I was refering to levels 30-40 since those ranges were also mentioned. Then without acceptable gear and skills surviving became more of an issue

Yes, I guess not speccing for that will slow down the dungeon by a couple of minutes. Is that worth the gold investment? That’s a player’s choice.

What other free stoof do you want while you’re at it?
Free mounts? Makes no sense to pay for a mount when you’ve never ridden it.
Free spells and abilities?
Free bank slots?

Most of that already exists in Retail - Shadowlands has everything you could possible need. Enjoy.

Because this is Classic, not a new game, nor one that should appease the players every whim. Don’t play the game if you don’t like it.

A global truth??? The farm is this way —>

Give you an example: why on internet people write that priest’s talent Divine Aegis is worse than Inspiration? This is a rhetorical question, however, I am interested in the answer.

Repair bills. It does not make sense.

The reason is simple. We do not know the mob abilities, how do they work, how strong they are etc. We still experiment and check new possibilities. Why do we pay when we die? I would like to have 3-4 attempts to check wich strategy is most suitable for me.

Genuinely can’t tell if you’re trolling or not with how some people are.

It’s supposed to be a “real” world that makes sense within itself, a RPG. The game in case anyone has forgotten, is the player playing as an Adventurer who takes tasks from the simple folk to go into the world to help out and you’re rewarded. Encountering a mob/boss is supposed to be trial and error because you’re not supposed to know; repairing your armour is part of that and the world. You say those things like the majority don’t look up all the tactics beforehand, which nearly makes raiding pointless and just a gearing up exercise.

As i said many times before.
TRIPLE TALENT SPEC!!!
Maybe there are some challenges in classic to give us retail UI of just picking any spec any time so triple talent spec would solve at least majority of those issues.
I’m changing my pvp spec based on team comp, new gear from raid, new pvp gear etc 10 times a week… It is just tedious…
We want 2022 game in a wotlk world, this is not classic anymore we need changes:

No need for that.

Just follow the guides.

I do not follow the guides from the simple reason. Mostly, there are people like you who do not know what they are writing about.

Get out, get the hell out with your anti-classic stuff.

How about this:

TRIPLE TALENT SPEC
1 month later
QUADRIPLE TALENT SPEC
1 week later
LET US TAKE ALL TALENTS IN EVERY TREE

I know that casuals like you don’t even need dual spec because you are not doing anything competitive in a game. Players that actually do something in a game might need to re-spec between games to adjust the counterplay but yeah you have never experienced that. Want 1k for dual? I bet you don’t even have that
