Yes. but on EU it doesnt seem to be live yet. when you update your battle.net app and login to character screen you should see the “Shop” button tho

Waiting for this to go live. My guess is they will fully implement transfers after the maintenance tonight

I dont think so. I cannot think of anything goes against the spirit of Vanilla (Your character with a reputation and standing within a player driven community) more than PCT.
It’s completely unacceptable as a service.

They announced this far before classic launched.

Also, this was available in Vanilla too.

They did say shop has not updated but you can do it in game

I don’t have any opinion about this. I just felt I wanted to share my opinion on that.

It was only in for about the last 4 weeks in the entire of vanilla. Same as this version of AV.

It’s obvious why blizzard insisted on 1.12, so they could make money off the transfers

Yeah i know they announced it last week, but didnt think it would go live after one week.

This isnt true. There was no PCT in Vanilla. Whatever was added in the TBC prepatch doesnt really count as that was technically TBC.

Yeah, this is correct :stuck_out_tongue:

Wrong,

PCT were added in Patch 1.11 together with Naxxramas. Get your facts straight first.

for the record, i only agreed with Imbawarrior** about the money grab part kek

what are you talking about? i quote wowhead

“Back in Vanilla, Paid Character Transfers were added in Patch 1.11, together with Naxxramas and many other quality-of-life improvements.”

Ok so I was wrong. Doesnt change the facts though that PCT has no place in Vanilla and did not exist for the majority of the game. Its completely against what Vanilla should be about which is that your reputation matters and if you take negative actions it will have consequences for you.

PCT lets you skip that entirely and just move away when you get too much heat and keep being a ninja somewhere else.

But Blizzard want money over the well being of the game so no surprise they add it.

People wanted PCT due to the poor launch of Classic by Blizzard.

i understand. It has it’s downsides aswell but for me it actually makes me want to play again. i made bad choices rolling a pvp server at the start of classic and invested alot in my character, so couldnt be bothered with rerolling. Being able to transfer to a PvE server and have a chill vanilla experience is making me enjoy wow again, instead of quitting it.

so i’m all for it.

Is pvp to pve going to be available though? Because for a long time it was pvp to pvp or pve to pve only.

Yes PvP → PvE is available but not PvE → PvP

Yeah, what Astronox said

No one knows what’s available as it’s not available yet.
