Might I actually state that the PCU does alot of considering for the fun of others, hence why they have open RP-campaigns(for people outside the PCU) and hold events like riots, for the fun of others aswell!

I don’t see the issue with sacrificing the fun of a few people with major hang-ups for the great enjoyment of dozens of people for 1 evening. If some event gives you heart-troubles maybe for that one evening you can just play Fall Guys or smth

To reiterate: When you make a riot that spans Stormwind and targets a specific demographic, you are engaging a lot of people on a negative front that don’t necessarily want to deal with this kind of thing.

If you have roleplayed for a while, you might be aware of the different RP’er types. Spoiler: some of them prefer roleplaying a story with their friends and guild. This group often contains introverts, or people that are shy, or that simply prefer a more controlled environment. I get that contrasts with people, like you, that prefer logging in, engaging, and allow events to unfold from there.

Yeah sadly we all use the same game world + pay the same subscription so I am more than welcome to roleplay in Stormwind

I hope the event goes really great and won’t be ruined by OOC’ers. I did feel like the Ren’dorei protest had a lot of OOC’ers who began shouting IRL politics, which sucked a lot and ruined the immersion, but overall the event back then was nice as well. As it provided some RP to talk about for a week.
Since the concept of a riot / protest is really cool, I hope the best. And that we can avoid OOC’ers trying to “meme” and shout random non-IC rants.

No, it won’t, unless you can’t separate IC and OOC, and then you should go over the basics in roleplay again.

I do believe this event, as written, is based on the Scarlet and their views of the current rule. The Scarlet is known also by fact to make an enemy out of the undead (Death Knights included) as well as anyone who associates with the undead.

The event is built on views of the unknown status of the Scarlets and their recently found fliers going against the current rule and armistice.

Unless taking it wrong, this event shouldn’t make a group feel unwelcomed - unless of course you had hoped to witness the event as a Death Knight, loyalist or walking corpse. We are in a world where we will witness conflicts between groups, even in time of peace - not all agrees.

As for myself, I won’t support the event for I don’t like the Scarlets, nor do I support the dead walking around either.
