This evening the Order once again gathered together with their hired mercenaries, the Sunnyglade Ratters, in order to plan their next attack upon the Horde forces at Zarkhenar. The elves had conjured a protective arcane barrier around their fortified tower to protect them from the Alliance forces, of whom departed from the Court of Farondis to travel to their enemy’s location. The Order arrived with a fully functional warframe to assist them in their assault, a mastercraft of Lightforged engineering. Intense fighting broke out once the warframe brought down the magical barrier, fighting tooth and nail to keep their control over the ruined tower. The warframe was eventually damaged beyond repair at the hands of a death knight, forced instead to self-destruct in the hopes of taking the elven tower with it.

The explosion ultimately brought about the destruction of the ancient tower, collapsing in between the two forces, both worn and weary from rigorous battle. With the orb buried beneath a mountain of rubble, the Order departed the battlefield alongside their mercenary allies. Was this a victory? The Order claim it to be so, their goal either to purify the potent orb or ultimately see it destroyed so that it might never fall to the foul clutches of the Horde.

Draenei that I’ve usually seen seem to always be in the ‘adviser’ role of things. The Order of Oronaar show that the draenei can be strong leaders too, needing no humans to show them how to do things.

Embracing the Light and all matter of crystal themed technology, these draenei will come to cleanse their world to make it pure and…
…Man, those Mag’har have the right idea.

Oh, and if you are a void elf? Keep away. Void filth should not stand in the path of the LIGHT.

The Vindicaar? Lightforged Warframes? They are useful tools for the Light to utilise, but when all is laid to rest, they are naught but mundane trinkets.

The truest strength of the Order of Oronaar lies within each and every one of us. Within flesh, bone, mind and soul… it is the guiding radiance of the divine Light which offers us the great power needed to overcome the sinful and the sinner.

Last night, Soulbinder Lazaares brought the Order of Oronaar through the portal to Shattrath.

From the City of Light, the draenei went on a pilgrimage to the ruins of Auchindoun. There, they were to commune with the spirits and guide them to rest with D’ore.

Enya disproved of the Soulbinder’s attunement to the shadows, but she joined the mission, apprehensive - if not to keep an eye on Lazaares.

However, as the hours passed within the ruins of the City of the Dead, Enya came to realize she could not withhold her sister from performing her duties. These ancient rites were as sacred as her own - Light, they had even performed such on old Argus.

She would allow it, if but a bit disgruntled and perhaps slightly wary yet…

The Order is currently aiding its allies in the defence of Khaz’Modan against an incursion of Sylvanas Loyalists and their dread necropolis, the Stygian Star. There has never been a better time for brave souls to join in on the fight and make a stand against darkness.

And so, the campaign has begun!

The Order of Oronaar resides in Telredor with the rest of the Concordat. They have come here to scout the Zangar Sea-… I mean ‘Zangarmarsh’, for an ancient relic which cannot fall into the wrong hands.

They were rudely welcomed by a unit of leper gnomes, attempting to rid the marsh of its visitors. Sadly, they were successful to some extent, as many of us fell injured and poisoned, while some of the Concordat were even lost entirely.

Talk about a first day…

excuse my post with a twink character but I hail from a German RP realm and plan on transferring my Draenei/Lightforged Draenei main character to Argent Dawn since I find myself in dire need of Draenei-RP. Is it possible to contact any of you outside of WoW or would it be possible to arrange a short and laid-back OOC meeting this coming weekend? (I am currently far away from my PC and/or Discord, but will be back by Friday.)

I can offer to create a twink this coming Friday so we could talk via ingame chat if that suits you.

Keeper Phaidros inspected the light-blessed bandages on his left arm where the forsaken’s pistol shot tore into last evening. The fighting was fierce, the attack from the Sylvanas loyalists unexpected. Just the day before that the Order worked together with the Horde legion stationed in Zabra’jin to drive the undead from their camp and burn it. Yet last night they retaliated in force, bringing three of their vile meat wagons to the attack. They appeared from the marshes with little warning, most of them had eschewed their usual heavy armor, allowing for this swift maneuver through the swampy grounds.

Having just brought in refugees from Telredor to the Harborage the Order would have been likely overwhelmed by the onslaught of undead, but luckily for them the mercenaries, the Sunnyglade Ratters, were also there, recently hired by one of the Krokul. Phaidros had no love for the mercenaries, but they do what they are being paid for and it showed once more during this battle. The mercenaries swiftly firebombed one of the meat wagons, neutralizing it, just as Justicar Vortel charged forward to drag another meatwagon operator from its machine. The third meatwagon escaped into the din of battle, Phaidros did not see what happened to it.

Having been part of the vanguard that charged the enemy’s backline to eliminate their siege engines Phaidros was quickly embroiled in heavy melee fighting. A forsaken deathstalker and an elvish sword fighter inflicted multiple wounds, cuts and stabs to his arm, leg and torso, before the deathstalker could be made to flee. The elvish sword fighter was only prevented from landing a fatal blow on Phaidros by the efforts of Justicar Vortel, channeling the divine Light to punish the assailant.

Wounded the Keeper still kept fighting, his attention drawn by a most peculiar foe. An orc fought with the Loyalists, channeling both lightning and fire like one of their shaman would, but the orc was clearly undead. Even as some evil spirit was nested in his mind Phaidros raised his blade against the undead orc, spilling its black ichor across the cobbles of the Harborage with a few swift strikes. But the beast stood its ground and even as he had his blade buried deep within the orc’s guts, it kept channeling lightning through the blade into the draenei. Only a desperate punch to the orc’s head saved the Keeper’s life, yet the victory was short-lived. A forsaken mage conjured a salvo of arcane projectiles and pummeled Phaidros to the ground.

Battered and bruised the Keeper lay on the cobbled ground, the wounds suffered throughout the battle taking their toll on the lightforged blademaster. He spoke a prayer to the Naaru as he expected the forsaken’s coup de grâce to be close, but it appeared the Light had different plans for Phaidros. The Loyalist’s sounded the call for retreat and soon after their forces were spilling out of the Harborage and back into the marshes. The last indignity the Keeper had to suffer by them was a stone thrown at him by an especially vile and cruel specimen of their kind. Phaidros only barely perceived as his brothers carried him back to heal his wounds before consciousness failed him that evening.

Now, on the next day, his wounds were healing swiftly, thanks to the Light’s blessings. He stroked one of his face-tendrils as he peered out into the marshes with its giant mushrooms looming tall. Out there were not just the Loyalists lurking, but also the leper gnomes and naga that have been terrorizing the region, poisoning the waters with their pumps and other machinery. Even the cooperation with the Horde itself was threatened by the Order’s former allies, the mad Cog-Captain of the Assemblage and the vain Harbinger of the Dirge. Many threats to the safety of his people remained in the Zangarmarshes and Phaidros was resolved to banish all of them.

The Order is currently camped at the Orebor Harborage after defending it from the Loyalists last night! The Zangarmarshes campaign is continuing with full steam this evening.
