[PCU] Draenei RP - Order of Oronaar 😇

Yesterday, the Order of Oronaar lingered one further day in the broken world of Draenor. The Ordersmen received stranger reports of a disturbance in Auchindoun; the sacred burial site of the Draenei still held in great esteem.

Members of the Order met up with their Auchenai companion, and her own void-elf friend. The two sought to visit Auchindoun regardless of the news, pursuing the trail of a group of Ethereal thieves who have plundered a pair of precious soul crystals from the fortress-home.

After a brief venture from the City of Light, the Order and their unlikely companion descended into the ruins and uncovered the disturbance in the damaged antechamber of great Auchindoun by binding the soul of a fallen priest and questioning him.

Yet the ritual did not only draw the friendly, cooperative spirit from the shadows to aid the Order. A shadowy demon manifested from the darkness in the antechamber; the very demon the Order defeated many days ago, trapped in the fortress-home and feeding on the souls in a desperate attempt to recover.

The order fought and defeated the demon, banishing it permanently into the Twisting Nether. They also swore to track down the death knights who desecrated Auchindoun and promised vengeance to the fallen priest, before obtaining a final clue on the location of the Ethereal thieves - with a crafty spell woven by their void elf ally, spying through the very rift the Ethereals used for their escape.

Wonderful events going on parallel to the greater campaigns organized by the Federation of Evil. If you are interested in Draenei roleplay with in-depth connection to lore, a great variety of characters and a wonderful community, do not hesitate to join!

The Order of Oronaar has returned to Azeroth! This evening, we performed some well earned promotions back at the Exodar.

However, our esteemed draenei also discussed whether they should pursue the foul death knights who came to Auchindoun to desecrate its holy grounds. Justice demands retribution, after all

A couple of eventful days lie behind the Order. Demonic activity in Westfall was investiagted and an Artificer freed from the grip of a warlock. Then yesterday the Order finally made another trip to Outland, reclaiming a lost item from the Ethereals who ransacked Auchindoun.

Now is some time for recuperation before two of our Acolytes will have the chance to pass their trials and ascend to the rank of Disciple within the Order.

Tonight was cause for celebration within the Order of Oronaar.

The ranks of the Luminous Order was joined by no less than six initiates in the Vault of Lights deep within the Exodar, who went through the sacred Introductory Rites to ascend as newly anointed and blessed acolytes - sworn to spread the wisdom of the Naaru, to protect and further the interests of the Draenei people and carry the Light through the long and bitter night.

Many of the Order came to witness this momentous occasion, and even passers-by stopped to lend an eye and an ear.

Glory unto the Light and the Naaru, for we are blessed.

Pheta thones gamera!

After securing part of an argussian artifact yesterday from an errant Death Knight, the Order is now preparing for a trip to Lordaeron. The destination will be the tomb of Uther the Lightbringer. There the Order intends to honour the first human Vindicator of Azeroth!

Great time for any Draenei (be they vanilla, Lightfored or broken) to join up!

A truly based band of broad bladed holy folk.
If you’re into Light and smacking down the enemies of it, whilst making void elves shrink in size, join these guys.

An impromptu Jed’hin practice was held tonight in the deep halls of the Exodar, hosted by Vigilant Arcaraan of the Order of Oronaar. Several Draenei clashed in an unofficial tourney, meant to strengthen their bodies as well as their bonds, but only one winner stood above the rest at the end of the night.

Zoraan the Rangari, one of the many Eyes of the Prophet claimed victory over all others, each opponent larger and stronger than herself. Wisdom and strategy brought her triumph this night. After having observed each combatant closely, she used her superior mobility and impressive strategies to overcome her opponents.

A good evening for the Order, with more evenings like it to come.

After a productive meeting today with our allies this evening a decision was reached. This tuesday we will move to the ruined kingdom of Lordaeron to strike at the roots of the Sylvanas Loyalists.

For any intrepid draenei wishing to aid the Order in their endeavours now is a good time to seek us out at the Exodar!

The Luminous Order prepares for war.

With the Loyalists beaten back and their foul ritual to summon forth an eldritch being thwarted, the Order has returned to calmer waters to rest and recuperate.

We are currently in Stormwind City after our holiday trip to Lordaeron, we’ll soon hit the road again though! Now is a good chance to jump on board for the epic rp train.

The Order of Oronaar welcomed four more disciples promoted today, who each passed their trials.

Hartuum, Nuaduum, Belderaa and Rahlaan did not face a hunting trip or a simple enemy to take down; they explored a set of visions where they each defeated their greatest fears, all the while raising a fellow Vindicator’s spirit, guiding and teaching him towards becoming the champion he was destined to be.

In the dark depths of the vision the trialled ordersmen found themselves pitted against a colossal shadow entity attacking them both with barrages of darkness and whispers echoing their innermost fears.

In the end, the vindicator they aided appeared to help them overcome their foe and expressed his gratitude to those trialled. Afterwards, the four Draenei returned to the mundane world, now as trialled disciples of the Order.

Big thanks for Arcaraan who organised the event & looking forward to the upcoming ventures of the Order!

The Order of Oronaar was tonight sent on a specialised mission direct from the Vindicaar to retrieve the body of an arcanist who had disappeared a week prior, somewhere in the Dread Wastes of Pandaria.

Taking a small but select team, Praetor Phaidros arrived via pre-arranged portal transport with vindicators Hartuum, A’Duun and Nuaadum and the ageing Soulbinder Lazaares. Not daring to tarry, they retrieved Alliance-sent gryphon to take them to the arcanist’s last known location; an ancient tree infused with mantid amber, mysteriously abandoned.

Inside they found the arcanist’s staff, confirming her presence, and the Soulbinder discovered the interior to be filled with the spirits of mantid that had passed. Deeper within the tree the team came across the remnants of a more recent security system put in place by the Mogu, none of whom seemed to remain. After spending some time disabling the complex workings of said system, the Order managed to open the doors to the inner chamber, finding the missing arcanist within.

Delighted by her rescue but irritated that it had come after a whole seven days, Ylaanai of the Army of Light explained that the lockdown had resulted in a disabling of her magical abilities. Thusly she had not been able to escape or complete her task: releasing an artifact from within a gigantic amber prison.

Wielding the Light, however, rather than the arcane, the Order agreed to help her. Combining their strengths they sapped the amber’s protections and accidentally set loose a forgotten paragon of the mantid. Turned mad by his prolonged imprisonment he attacked the gathered Draenei but was no match for their strength. After a close and intense fight, he was brought down without too much in the way of collateral damage, leaving behind a purple gemstone: the relic Ylaanai sought to claim.

Now with her powers restored, the arcanist was more than happy to return the Order to the Exodar’s halls, exchanging sharp words with an old ‘friend’ in the form of Crystalbearer Arcaraan before departing back to the Vindicaar, crystal in hand. Another victory for the Order of Oronaar.

But what have they unintentionally unleashed?

Big thanks to Lunaaria who organized this spectacular event which will hopefully be the first of many from her brilliant mind!
