The league just wrapped up a two-day cross guild event chain with the good folk of Clan Stormheart!
On the first day we were treated to plenty of ale as we visited the gryphon hatchery, which took even our most hardened veterans by surprise as even they could steel themselves to the adorable little birds! Facing a lack of candles to keep the hatchlings warm, the League will set out to cleanse a local kobold infestation near Hammerarm Hall and delivery the candles to Kirthaven as payment for Clan Stormheartās generosity. Along with that some of members got to meet the patriarch of the gryphons, Rhea, who proved to be a challenging but worthwhile test to those who stepped up to her domain!
On the second day many a game was had, first starting out with the lifting competition, which resulted in many reps and just as many failures as the burly lads and lassies tried to lift wood, stone and iron! The second game was that of a wall run, while being pelted by rocks and boulders! Only one made it, which just so happened to be the drunken mess of the group! The last game was that of wrestling, which was as expected a rough and tumble affair, resulting in team Gorilla taking the games as they edged out Thunderwing by a few points!

The League have just returned from vanquishing a zealous foe that had risen from the ash of the Altar of Storms, but the now ashen spirit of the Iron Censor has since left a dire warning, as a scheming sorcerer plots the Leagueās demiseā¦ in other news, Sainur obtained a cool weapon and the armour of the now ghostly dark iron judicator is under lock and key inside the Military Ward of Ironforge!
That is to say I actually bothered to DM for once in my life.
Please do come join us! Tomorrow we do our civic duty to cleanse an infestation of kobolds from a mine nestled in Loch Modan, although our main objective is to harvest the candles the savages have gathered in order to provide the gryphon hatchlings of Clan Stormheart a fighting chance at growing into fully fledged gryphons!
After all, we are the League of Modimus, and that means our Wildhammer cousins deserve some love too!
Staring out into the centre of Thelsamar, the dwarf puffed out another ring of smoke that quickly dissipated as he leaned onto the stone balcony. He was at ease, the tobacco clearly working its magic as he knew it would.
It always did, after all.
His mind turned to earlier on the day, walking the streets of Stormwind with his beloved, only to risk breaking the law to protect her. He was certain it would occur again, yet with a promotion on the horizon he knew a scuffle would dash his chances. Thankfully he knew the law had its limits as well, and when justice had to be served, it would be delivered swiftly.
Justice could wait however, as the Thane turned back to take an oftentimes brisk stroll through the Clan home. It was nothing impressive as far as such structures went, aside from being carved into a nearby mountain much like Ironforge or Shadowforge. It had many a stone hallway, and many more stone rooms litering them, all of which played host to one kin or the other, fellow Stonemantles.
One room however, had a different guest.
Walking through the hallway with a lit torch in hand, the Thane turned a left and froze as he stood outside a wooden door typical to bronzebeard make. Slowly, he leaned against the door, before gently opening it to reveal the guest chamber.
He peered inside, making out a stone bed and underneath its covers, his beloved. He watched her for what seemed like an eternity, before gently closing the door and returning to his nightly stroll, his torch illuminating the dour halls.

The League is heading back to Northrend to clobber some skulls and smash some undead back into the ground! Now is PRIME TIME to be joining us, as we seek to help a kinsman from the Brotherhood of the Light with handling an issue deep underneath Dun Morogh, summon an enemy that has long plagued the League from the Firelands and no doubt battle the savage Horde in varied skirmishes!
Tonight we entered titan facility designation: 117 in order to investigate a case of missing wardens inside the complex. What the League found were horrifying monstrosities and creatures of the void, but thankfully the prison was cleansed of all taint! What is it with the void and titans huh?
Anyhow join up now! The horizon looks bright, as we venture into the jungle of Unāgoro as well as head over to the Twilight Highlands for a fighting tournament!
