[PCU] Dwarf RP - League of Modimus šŸ”

no he just criticized a dwarf guild for being based in the dwarven district
People can say things without 1:1 using the word, surely someone who has repeatedly accused me of things in the basket of 1940s germans knows this.

donā€™t make me get ur brother to set you straight

The discussion had already changed to the fact he was unable/unwilling to work towards it himself before Perroy came in and started the discussion again :man_shrugging:

You are contorting what Iā€™ve said. The fact you written out what you perceived me to have said in more words than Iā€™d actually used is testament to that.
Shadowtwill is clear I didnā€™t say that, as evident by his post.

aghā€¦ noā€¦ how dare perroy join a topic on his own thread

stop weirdposting my friend

okay so what else did you mean by criticizing their presence in Stormwind and saying they should instead be in Ironforge.

Probably not the weirdest set of messages from that source

I think he meant ā€œaughh noo Moira stop being there thatā€™s illegalā€ + ā€œnoooo guilds have to cater to my specific preferenceā€

Nah Iā€™m not

PS. Why arenā€™t you roleplaying in Ironforge as of this moment?

Heā€™s just trying to de-esculate all this, why do you need to be mean to him?

Perhaps my use of the term criticism was wrong. But i find it odd/strange that a racial guild, perporting to be a wing of that races ruling body, isnā€™t HeadQuarted from that races capitol city. Hence my initial post.
I have not once said that they HAD to exile/abandon/leave the dwarven district.

You are. Knowingly or not, you are deriving altered meaning to what I said, even though someone else, Shadowtwili, has tried to point that what you accuse me of saying/implying, is not the case.

Because you chose to reopen a point that had already been dealt with. - as pointed out by Shadowtwili.

Because as has already been pointed out by someone questioning my characters level, that despite not supposedly meant to be an issue for RP, is often used to belittle people here on this forum. I have been attempting to level up because of this.

And because weā€™ve been having this tete a tete, and Iā€™m not presently at home, I no longer have the time tonight.

Because he was passive-aggressive towards Perroy when he responded to something which occured on his own thread. If you didnā€™t know, Perroy is Czar.

Shocking revelation, I know.

Theyā€™re a group of henchmen of the ruling body, rather, and thus go out to various dwarven zones (and even non-dwarven zones, depending on the story)

So you wanted them to exist in both the dwarven district and Ironforge at the same time or what ?

They obviously visit both - with each being an important zone for dwarves. Your original post really lacks any point at all

Nah Iā€™m not

Yeah weirdly you have achievements indicating a higher level character but that might be a crazy bug

Explain why the Grim Gest is not permanently role playing in the twilight zone given that they represent the Void faction

because heā€™s wrong

do you find it odd in general that thereā€™s dwarves in the dwarven district then? Thereā€™s a shadowforge peasant there too, shouldnā€™t those only be in some underground farm?

thatā€™s okay come back tomorrow weā€™ll continue where we left off but also you are officially owned until you return

IĀ“ve been part of attempts at establishing new roleplay hub (although just as a member) and let me tell you that itĀ“s not easy. Like it or not, Ironforge is desolate and it makes sense for guild focusing on one race to use that raceĀ“s district in Stormwind (especially if that guild is part of bigger community with another guild based in Stormwind).

not sure how youd revive Ironforge with a 20-something dwarf guild full of excellent roleplayers (that primarily want to have fun) when the 100+ dwarf megaguild that recruits every warhammer/lotr/dragonball dwarf under the sun had failed to do so

I donā€™t get it, the Dwarvern District is called the Dwarvern District for a reason. Itā€™s a district for Dwarves. Also, the premise is true. Modimus is a new guild so of course itā€™s a good idea to start off in the big hub to gain numbers. It took the Battalion about a year and a half to get to the point where we could sustain RP in Bilgewater Harbour.

So the rule youā€™ve invoked there is that the thread starter has final say on anything the thread? Iā€™ll remember that when you reply to somebody in the future.

Ouch. That hurts.

Again, further contorting of what was posted. I didnā€™t once say that they could only RP in a particular zone.

Thatā€™s yours and Perroyā€™s opinion.

Again, your construing this into a point I didnā€™t make. My initial post doesnā€™t and never has stated that they couldnā€™t be in those locations. But itā€™s always good to see that Perroy canā€™t debate/argue without back-up.

I never said that I did. You keep construing it as that though.

Only as you keep deriving a meaning that isnā€™t now ever was there.

ā€œWow. Didnā€™t see that one!ā€ Although there is little to be gained by you for admitting so.

Not that it has anything to do with this argument, but thatā€™s probably becasue Iā€™ve spent the last 4 weeks leveling a different character. Theyā€™re still not a ā€˜mainā€™, nor max level, just flavour of the month when I resubbed 4 weeks ago after my 6 month hiatus. Iā€™m now spending time on this one.
The fact people on the forum use it as a way to mock and belittle others should be of concern.

Please show the legal documentation where my life and being were bought into servitude by you as a commodity.

Never said it was easy, but itā€™s become circular. People donā€™t go there because no-ones there, and no-one there because no-one wants to be in an empty place. If no one makes the point of being there, no-one will ever be there.

Again, never that they couldnā€™t be there.

Iā€™ll be headinā€™ yer way soon.
