And we shall forgive your capital crime of treason in return.

Iā€™d like to thank anduin, jaina, and Baine for forgiving me about the tree and genocide of the night elvesā€¦

I wonā€™t do it again.

ā€¦Unless?

She is risenā€¦

if the forsaken hadnā€™t bombed the tree then millions more would have died in a protracted and bloody battle across kalimdor. it was necessary and moral.

I canā€™t wait for the first public Sylvanas loyalist execution

How is that related to this thread? There are no Sylvanas loyalists here.

I didnā€™t think I had to specify who they were :frowning: they certainly arenā€™t here.

Ting ting.

It is not poor RP if it perfectly follows portrayed lore.

Also my allegiance is with Orgrimmar, elf-maā€™am. Donā€™t god-emote at me. Thatā€™s poor RP and a powerplay :upside_down_face:

Red Venturers are mercenaries and that means ā€œgets to do what they want.ā€

We were all prepared to be playing the underdogs, needing to fight or leave or whatever, and then Blizzard ting tingā€™d us.

The stone guard of Hand of Conquest is dead, killed for her attitude and actions prior to ting ting. The high Executor of the Rotgarde and leader of the Stygian Legion is gone.

The rest are coming to terms with the fact they were on the wrong side, because they were abandoned by the warchief they followed because theyā€™re all good little soldiers.

They are all still soldiers and the racial leaders have forgiven them for remaining loyal to the warchief and the horde. And guess what, most of the soldiers still remain loyal to the Horde because it is more than just the warchief.

Make yourself a horde character, go to Orgrimmar, youā€™ll see how different things are now.

What she says!

A lot of us have long been playing as Horde faction loyal regardless of Warchief, and were fully prepared for backlash anyway for putting that loyalty where we had. As well, people have taken IC backlash on the nose, like when three whole guilds barricaded themselves in the Barracks to be safe from a gargantuan riot.

Or how the Rotgarde are skulking around in the Cleft like mice instead of swanning around the open streets.

It is subtle but it is happening. Just because it isnā€™t by way of a public mass execution doesnā€™t mean we are ignoring it. Come and join us! Itā€™s been brilliant fun so far.

Iā€™ll be real real and say that many of us were probably kindaā€¦ let down by it, as itā€™s a bit of a weak way for things to end up, but the established lore is simply that Baine, Thrall, Gazlowe, etc, have just said ā€œIf you say sorry and stop saying that the banshee is good, you are absolved of all sinsā€.

Cā€™est la vie, we donā€™t write the lore. And as others mentioned, for most guilds the dynamic has most certainly changed, indeed most notably the Rotgarde. Leaders have died and been replaced, directions as a whole have been altered, and so on.

Hey,
Just because they are forgiven by the leaders of the horde, doesnā€™t mean you have to.
Ting Ting Ting their skulls with your hammer, spell or /y gunshot for that one mate they killed for saying something mean about the banshee queen.

They created even more RP for you right there.

This is true, obviously, but keep in mind that murdering your fellow Horde is certain to make you a criminal.
