[PCU] Plot : Cosmic Crown of Terror 🌌

Chained, Tetrarch Kezuga laid bloody and beaten on the floor of the burrow. Razor Hill was calm now, the chaos the prisoner brought had ended. The Raiders brought the relics here to keep them away from the citizens of Orgrimmar and minimise the chances of corruption spreading into the general population, plus certain people in the original meeting could no longer be trusted. During the second meeting held in the settlement, they made an offer to hand the relics over to a group of Blood Elves consisting of The Highblood Myrmidons and a member of The Reliquary. The Raiders want no further involvement with these foul objects now that they have done their part and completed their duty of keeping the people of the Horde safe. They are a military death squad, watching over fragments of an evil trinket for longer than they needed to was not in their interest.

“No!” the tetrarch barked at the crowd of concerned legionnaires as all eyes were on him now as he backed away, holding the trinket close to himself. “Someone take that gem off him!” Sokronal ordered as grunts began to move in. His cohort followed their instincts and circled the tetrarch protrcively.

“Back away!” The tetrarch didn’t seem like himself at this point. His words were warped with spite, greed and paranoia. His talanjite, Ar’khala caught on to Kezuga’s strange behavior and asked him to calm down!

“Obey me, Talanjite!” His grip over his trinket tightened even more until his knuckles began to whiten. “I will be KING, YOUR KING! I WILL–”

And wham! He was tackled by one grunt and the tetrarch fell over. As the trinket escaped his grasp, Kezuga passed out, a darkness seemed to have left him.

An official meeting to hand over the three relics has been set up for tomorrow. In a secret location, the Raiders will give them to a group consisting of members of The Highblood Myrmidons and The Reliquary. They have decided to choose these Elves due to their boasting of hundreds of years of knowledge and a place to keep the dark objects safe. The location of the meeting is only known by (at the time of sending the invitation letters) five people, out of all the groups mentioned.

They stood on the Speaker’s Step, in view of Scaletrader Post. The events leading to this moment are of little relevance; a view into the worst of the void, a test of inner will, a promised reward un-received… all culminated into the scrollcase that Awqe upended; allowing himself and “Venoma” to sift through.
A lot on architecture of Zuldazar, on healing and medicine, on hiking… all mundane, all safe so far… but…

A tortollon named Krutu had written at length of his travels around Zuldazar, into even Kul Tiras. A lot of writing, yet so little readable; not for language, but for sheer amount of mad rambling. What was readable was, in itself, nearly incoherent. Details of a ritual they could not piece together.

Stranger still… so much stranger still… a tome wedged into the bottom of the scrollcase. It seemed it announced itself to Awqe, as the case felt heavier… or perhaps he’d imagined it. A natural shifting and pull of weight simply revealing what had gone unnoticed.

The Great Almanac, edition number 6336
Occult scripture; accounts of disturbing and disgusting crimes against nature across all Azeroth. Heavily stained, some of it just unfinished. Mostly useless, at first glance, save for the entry as written by the self-claimed Mad Prince, detailing the search for a Cosmic Crown.

Has finding this given the Red Venturers a better understanding of what may lay ahead, or has it simply spoken of what everyone seems to have worked out about the bizarre artifacts already?

The Venturers in action that evening all agreed, and it would be ordered to all under the banner soon by Lakvanoy Clawtotem, to keep what vague knowledge the tome had given them to themselves.

The Great Almanac: edition 6336, is currently now in the hands of Khelerya Eleneth; representing the Red Venturers, to be studied with aim to shift the tome to another within the company as soon as feasible.

Once posing as an emissary of the Horde High Command, Hiamah now served his great master, N’zoth, in an assault to reclaim the artefact. This now-faceless being joined with his allies in the caves west of the meeting spot.

In a dastardly moment of duplicitous scheming, the other disguised minions of N’zoth were able to claim the box containing three of the pieces, taking them to the cave where the ambush took place. After a long fight, the cultists were able to collapse the cave entrance and escape through a portal to Ny’alotha itself.

Edit: After a meeting within Ny’alotha, Hiamah has been granted the Sanguine Domination of the three artefacts claimed.

The Second Left part of the Crown, The Sanguine Domination and the Front piece of the crown are now in the possession of the Black Order.

Bren Ironburner, high cultist of his master N’zoth, took a hold of the crate that held the three relics. He had moments before helped collapse the mine in which they fought the Highblood Myrmidons before escaping through the portal leading to the Sleeping City, Ny’alotha. His Order of Cultists now held three of the powerful pieces of the Crown.

After helping the Ronin purify a lake in the Vale from the corruptive clutches of a terrible black beastly void addled fish, Hyarin found the first right part of the Crown. She’s happy over the successful mission, but a little worried over what the fish gulped up in its last moments.

She keeps it for now, and turns her attention back to the daily fight ahead. With the Vale suffering so much, she’s got bigger fish to fry.

As Fandro Felcoin laid in his bed, recovering from a sharp headache. Sergeant Urugar slammed his fist against the wooden bed-frame, furious at the news of Cultists stealing the relics from the Myrmidons and his Goblin comrade. He put up a wanted poster for the traitorous ‘member’ of the Reliquary. A lead, the name of one the High Cultists in this order, was handed to the Myrmidons to help them reclaim what they had lost.

The second Crimson Eye is now back in the possession of Vashava Nethersong.

Vashava Nethersong spends the night studying the Crimson Eye. Intricate arcane devices are hauled out of storage and used to analyse the device, old tomes dug out and the spells within cast, all to try and work out what the Crimson Eye is, or does. As the sun rises, Vashava is sure of one thing. The gemstone is linked to something, somewhere. The magical trace was unquestionable. The pressing question now, was what was the gem connected to?

After a meeting and an agreement with various arcane spellcasters from the Legion, the first right part of the Crown ends up locked inside a box sealed by several arcane locks to which no less than currently three different magi hold the keys for. With room for more to add in later on, for added security.

Hyarin possesses the box itself, and for the moment continues her defense of the Vale.

A near repeat of past events occurred, this time in the Valley of Honor. The Zandalari Cohort responsible for attacking Razor Hill had their recently void-riddled Tetrarch back in power. Through manipulation of his allies in the Saurfang Legion he and the Myrmidons attempted to bring about the downfall of the Raiders of Razor Hill, for all to see. When the truth was revealed, the Grunts of the Hand of Conquest took control of the situation - parting the arguing forces and eventually putting an end to the drama. The Zandalari left the city for Dazar’alor after being called traitors and yelled insults at by some of the people there. The Myrmidons who helped try to bring about this betrayal left too. The Raiders dubbed their leader the ‘Void Baron’ and ‘The Butcher of Durotar’. The relics had created so much paranoia and hysteria already, it was very hard to tell who you were able to trust. The Raiders however, now only trusted the Thirteenth. They no longer had anything to do with the relics, but the effects of them were still clearly an issue.

As the Raiders left the Harbour and the hubub ended, Captain Trautfizzle sat back at his desk as he sighed triumphantly.

“Fandro Felcoins finally gonna’ get given the marching order to butt out of Cartel affairs, all thanks to me…”

Hellissa nods, peering at a small, faded stone between her fingers, “And the blood stone works wonderfully,” the Succubus chimed in, “He couldn’t even react before my dagger reached his throat…”

The pair of them laughed to themselves, it seems the Bilgewater Battalion have keenly given one of the blood stones their roguish enforcer, a rather powerful Succubus. She’s known for being zealously loyal to her master, but as she turned away from her Captain, she gazed into the stone with a hidden hunger,

“Maybe you could bring about her coming…”

One of the blood stones, Covert Wayfarer, is now in the hands of Trautfizzle of the Bilgewater Battalions demon. She is rarely found far from her master…
