Anvilbot, Designate Valsy’s mechanical contraption, finally succumbs to the influence of the Hemorrhagic Fury and turns on the Assemblage in Loch Modan. After a fierce battle, Anvilbot is destroyed and the gemstone is retrieved from the wreckage by Jerin. Following a brief but tense exchange at the Assemblage Workshop, it is decided that the gemstone would be kept under lock and key at their Headquarters in New Tinkertown. Upon arriving at New Tinkertown, however, Jerin has second thoughts after recalling a recent assault by the Leper Gnomes, and instead decides (or perhaps the Bloodstone decides for him…?) that the Hemorrhagic Fury would be much safer in his possession, where he can keep a close eye on it…

And with that, Jerin Boltwrench takes possession of the Hemorrhagic Fury.

Ichor bleeds from Isaac’s wounds after a heated battle against the Saurfang Legion. He holds up the dark-red gemstone known as the ‘Stygian Hunger’, given to him by its previous holder, Xotrios. He already feels its power taking over, nearly smothering the void’s whispers of his maddened mind with those of sheer hunger. A hunger he feels he could never sate, how hard he may try. He tears a hole into his stomach and stows the gem inside, promptly closing the wound in a terrifying display using his necrotic magic. This ought to keep it safe, for now.

The Sanguine Domination has been handed to Fandro Felcoin by The Black Empire Agent, Saronite Slug. The Agent appeared to Fandro in the form of a shady Goblin, hoping to corrupt the one who had attacked his Master before. However, he may have unknowingly underestimated the willpower of Felcoin.

Trailoff snarls at the news of the Sanguine Domination being given away for corruption, aware of the true potential of the artifact once possessed by his forces. He contacts his two high Cultists, Fritz and Gnibli, retrieving from them the Front and Far-Left piece of the crown, before sending his agents Hasdrubal and Target to retrieve the Sanguine Domination back from the Goblin and into his own possesion.

With less trust in a part of his hierarchy and a large time of inactivity from the Black Order, Trailoff readies his accursed axe to get involved personally, ready to begin a new form of warfare to reform the crown and any other gem related to it.

The Executioner now holds the Left-most piece of the crown, the front of the crown and the Sanguine Domination.

Megnarosh reaches out with confidence to take the ‘Stygian Hunger’ which is handed to him by Isaac who held it before him. Not long after he feels its power surge through him, following with an insatiable hunger. He stores the dark-red gemstone in his belt, licking his lips hungrily.

Trailoff, once a skilled blacksmith and fighter for the Dark Iron Clan, spends a large sum of his time in isolation. There, he forms a plan to harness the power of the Sanguine Domination within the handle of a blade, therefore hiding its existence to some whilst also allowing it to both harness blood and exert its influence. The minions of the Black Order scatter, slowly gathering the regents needed to create the new blade of the Executioner.

The Crimson Eye is taken from Rynore’s unconscious body shortly after taking a blow to the back of the head. Ayleris Greenshadow now holds the gem.

Ayleris now holds both Crimson Eyes. Treachery, treachery has yielded results, though her arrangement with the sindorei Illidari was guaranteed to end that way eventually. Opportunity brought that moment forward. She smiles in the desert night, nothing of value was lost and much was gained.

With the pair of Crimson Eyes now brought together, they reveal themselves and their true power: No longer do the sanguine orbs betray the whereabouts of their unholy complement, now they work as one – granting their bearer thorough true sight all-around and the ability to spot the other parts of the Cosmic Crown should they be concealed by pockets, bags, treasure chests or even walls. However, making use of these otherworldly orbs has a price: Sanity. To leer at the world through the Crimson Eyes also shows its yet festering corruption; the fiends of darkness that linger in the realms beyond and beneath… they are seen and now they stare back. The forces of the oldest empire of all will always find the bearer.

The Great Almanac, edition number 6336 returns, at the time, to Vallerianne Sykethen, commonly known as Venoma. Brought forward to other members of the Saurfang Legion, the details that have so far been researched were shared; a long ago knighthood, an ingredient, swathes of twisted literature.

Research into the knighthood had hit a wall. With more input from the minds of the Legion, it could continue. But when? And with Venoma throwing herself into more and more trouble, the book was now at its most endangered…
