This evening the Cohort traveled to Mount Hyjal to discover the apparent location of a old tribe of mons who moved there many moons ago! just as they were travelling a bunch of harpies attacked the Cohort! fierce fighting ensued as the harpies eventually dragged three of the Cohort off into their nest in the basin by the Shrine of Goldrinn! after killing the harpies and rescuing the mons! the Cohort discovered this cave to be the old tribes home. Finding a chest with the relic they sought and also a old dusty tome to decipher!
This evening the Cohort travelled to the Crossroads in the Barrens to spend time around the campfire and interact with one another, share tales of their past, tales of their loa and general things about them! afterwards taking part in a game of Gral Fusāobea! with members from Ronin! quite the fun!
Itās so much fun RPing with Painted Shields. I donāt get to RP much at the moment but whenever I pop up on my Priestess they welcome me back as though I was there every night.
Some lovely stories tonight too.
Last evening, the Painted Shields retrieved the final piece of Atalāaka - The Devoted Daughter of the Empire by delving deep within the Temple of AtalāHakkar.
The halls were perilous for our warriors as the Atalāai trolls were using the power of the final piece to summon the dark voodoo of Hakkar the Soulflayer.
But we succeeded! And now all that remains is reforging the weapon and soon bring glory to the Zandalari Empire.
This evening, the Cohort ventured into Ashenvale to investigate attacks upon the Warsong lumber camp by apparent Satyrs! the Cohort however discovered Satyr corpses upon the road with dead Grunts and Sentinels. Immediately after they were attacked by a remnant group of Sentinels. The fighting continued along the road in Satyrnaar where it was discovered the Sentinels were actually Satyrs in disguise, using the corpses to lay an ambush for Horde forces in order to get their forms! Tough fighting ensued as shadowy apparitions and Satyrās attacked with their demonic magic, though the Cohort was victorious! slaying their leader Kalāresh the Vile!
This evening, the Cohort traveled to Razor hill to rest, eat food, drink and tell some stories about themselves, their deeds and their history! with their Pandaren guests from Ronin! āCohort Campfireā being an important time for the mons to get too know their fellow mons who they serve with, each mons story being important.
Elyrius might not like trolls but I do
Good gamers to join and have some genuinely enjoyable RP withā¦ praise the loa or whatever it is trolls doā¦
Two days ago was perhaps the most trivial task the Painted Shields ever hadā¦
All the way down in Tanaris, the Bilgewater Cartel were having trouble getting the Dunemaul ogres to work again and with the Horde spent on resources and manpower, the only people who were remaining to answer the call for help was none other than the Painted Shields.
The cohort flew down to Tanaris and got right to it. All these ogres had more than one issue with the goblins or the work in general and since the goblins themselves werenāt brave enough to confront their own employees, the Painted Shields had to talk, beat or barter their way through the entire clan until the whole lot were back to work.

This evening the Cohort travelled to the āGhostlandsā to confront the remnants of the Amani tribe as they flock to the banner of the Zullians. The Cohort enlisted the help of the Highblood Myrmidons for this journey, both groups arriving to Tranquillien and then travelling onwards to Zulāaman. An Amani Troll named āProphet Zalākrataā was leading the group, chanting threats of war and bloodshed upon the Elves and the reclamation of their homeland. The same old story! the Cohort and Highblood swiftly put an end to this threat and secured the safety of Tranquillien and the surrounding Sinādorei holds.
This evening, the Cohort travelled to the Crossroads to take part in the usual campfire tradition once more. Spending time with their fellow mons, sharing stories and enjoying food and ale. Though this time we merged it with the promotion ceremony! raising two of our members to the āShieldmonā rank! the two mons proving themselves to the Cohort and in extension the Empire! others due their promotions too who could not attend! a bright future ahead for the cohort!
When the Alliance attacked Dazarāalor, a lot of the empireās riches had been stolen, lost along with their king.
It was then discovered that some of the Zandalari gold fell in the possession of the Bloodsail Buccaneers and the fleet which carried it all recently dropped anchor at the shores of Stranglethorn Vale.
The seventh rastari cohort flew over to the pirates on pterrodaxes and swooped down to the fleet. The conflict ended with a lot of dead pirates and a sunken fleetā¦ with the gold sinking with it.
However, despite the loss, this shall teach those pirates a thing or two before putting their hands on the empireās treasury!
The Cohort are currently residing within Orgrimmar, on the lookout for more tribal Trolls and Zandalari to bolster their ranks to assist the empire! Diāchuka Zandalar!
The Defias Brotherhood made fortune from the criminal underworld and the misfortune of others. Much of that loot was lost along with Edwin VanCleef until only recently, when the cohort received a tip from the spies of Shadra that a buyer was receiving valuable loot that formally belonged to Brotherhood.
The cohort found their way into Westfall and entered the valley that would lead them to the goods, only to be welcomed by the mysterious organisation known as The Uncrowned .
They attacked the cohort from every angle, but the warriors prevailed and came face-to-face with the buyer. A champion of The Uncrowned known as āShadeā who then offered the cohort half of the loot to prevent any further grievances between his people and the Zandalari.
His bargain fell on deaf ears as the Painted Shields then began to kill the remaining rogues and Shade himself and took all the loot for themselves.
