Vallender itches several runes into the ground, the stones and the trees. He knows that the runes resembling an X would simply detonate on close contact, sending out a malevolent shadow nova, the ones resembling crosses are confusion traps, that send out bolts of shadows that make anyone they pass through very dizzy (and would respond to magic or close contact), and the runes Ćø would detonate on any kind of magic that is cast in the area and would form tendrils of shadow, that would eagerly consume any magic found within reach.

Ilistria would meanwhile move around the same area South of the lodge, setting up a number of her own traps. These would mostly consist of a trip wire across the ground which would then be carefully covered with leaves to disguise it, some would be set close to Vallenders wards in the hope of one person setting off a second trap in trying to avoid the first

Trap type one (ground trip wire) Red dot

On being triggered it would release an acid vial from above which would shower anyone below with the contents.

Trap type two (ground trip wire) Orange dot

Would cause a tensed and bent back branch to be released at around a sinā€™dorei stomachs height, this would swing around from the side and be covered in sharpened wooden stakes, each coated in a thick resin like poison that would cause vomiting and extreme muscle spasms which would get worse the longer left untreated.

Trap type three (pit trap) Blue dot

A shallow pit, around knee deep, dug into the ground and lined with wooden stakes, the pit then covered with a layer of cloth and then hidden under a light covering of soil and leaves or snow. If stepping on the cloth anyone would find themselves likely stumbling into the hole and the resulting stakes below, also coated with the same resin type poison as type two.

Trap type four. (ground trip wire) Pink dot

Similar to trap type two, but the branch would be tensed and ready to spring down from above and in line with the head height of an average sinā€™dorei, the branch would again be lined with sharpened stakes each coated with the resin type poison as in type two

Trap type five (ground trip wire) Green dot

Final trap would be similar to type one, but in place of the acid vial, A bee or wasp nest would be carefully placed to drop onto the ground, most likely causing a very angry swarm of said bees or wasps to attack anyone in the immediate area.

And weā€™re off! With an eventful pre-campaign preparation day for the Horde, the Alliance already surrounding Conquest Hold with scouts and extremely diplomatic and polite Draenei and the neutral/evil parties in hot pursuit; this is shaping up to be an amazing campaign!

I will be adding individual sign ups throughout the campaign, so donā€™t be afraid to show up as an individual whenever you wish.

Busy at work, the League of Modimus sought to appease the elements of these lands. After placing down totems by the river, near Grizzlemaw, and near Amberpine village, the Wildhammers retreated back to the camp. Met with pleasant answers, the elements lend their aid to the shamans.

Camping under the cold northern sky, eating strange berries, and harassing Draenei with inane questions about radiation? All this and more in a campaign that looks set to win multiple awards from the Academy :]

Very chill (I lie, it was tense) first night!!

Big thumbs up to League of Modimus for our first clash of the campaign!

As well as the Rotgarde and GG for ruining the victory and almost murdering us allā€¦

Is it a plane? Is it a bird? No, itā€™s a Wildhammer!

Really enjoyed the first day of this campaign. Cheers to the organizers as well as League of Modimus for having me!

Trapper Llewellyn looked out from the wooden tower of Redwood Trading Post. He saw through a spy glass Forsaken and their twisted ilk gathering around Bloodmoon Isle with their foul necropolis which had pierced the cold coastal air just days ago. The people of Solstice Village had watched as the people spoken of to be known as ā€˜Loyalistsā€™ amongst many other, far more derogatory names, tore through the land on arrival, attacking Horde and Alliance forces in kind. They were on no ones side, only the side of death, and his village was directly in the way of their war path. People were scared, afraid to leave their homes. The Taunka at Camp Oneqwah had attempted to flee to Solstice Village before they were ambushed by strange undead monsters, tribesmen and aggressive Alliance soldiers in kind being hacked down by the beasts.

He looked all around him and all he saw was danger, and he feared that his village could no longer stay neutral in this conflict; turning to a woman at his side who had a hawk resting on her arm, he nodded to her, ā€œSend word to the Alliance and the Horde. I donā€™t care who comes here, Iā€™m willing to offer them lodgings just so long as they protect us from those bloody undeadā€¦ā€

Yesterday was full of twists and turns as the Alliance and Horde properly engaged in combat with each other across the entirety of the Grizzly Hills for the first time!

Today, Solstice Village has sent word out to the Alliance and the Horde beseeching their aid against the encroaching Loyalists in return for offering them lodgings on the basis that whilst the Alliance seem like natural allies, the Trappers and Traders there enjoyed good relations with the Taunka of Camp Oneqwah after the whole Wolf Cult Fiasco!

This could offer the Alliance or the Horde an extra base, who will take the offer? Letā€™s find out!

Yeah uh late thank you to the BASED PoG guild for fighting against the leagueā€¦ if not for the meddling kids (rotgarde & co), Iā€™d have gotten away with it!

Great fighting tonight, and my warsong has a score to settle next time we meet, so get ready!

(Edit: Sorry if my escape may have looked a bit forced tbh, now that I think about it.)

Pandaren energy yesterday was raw. Loved RPing with the lads from Ronin, and the encounter with the goblins before the fight! Huge shoutout to the alliance gnomes and dwarves for being good fights and almost getting killing shots on my roguesquad lads, not an easy task!

I havenā€™t had this much fun in a campaign in a long time. It makes me happy to see that there are still plenty of days ahead of us.
