Does anyone out there know if it is still possible to get a drop of “Pendant of Myzrael” for the quest “Crystal in the Mountains” even after completing the quest “Summoning the Princess”?
I couldn’t find an answer to this question in WoWHead or in other websites.
I also made a ticket to Game master adressing this issue but they are just clueless and rave about some blizzard’s code of conduct.
Lastly, if it is possible to get it, does anyone knows where to farm it best?
Am I missing something? Why does having completed Summoning the Princess mean that the Pendant can’t drop from the mobs? It has a 1/1000-1/100 chance of dropping depending on who you kill, but lots of mobs have a chance to drop it if you’re desperate enough to grind.
To Gnooby:
It is just that returning the pendant to stone makes no sense after you bind the princess underground forever. It made me think that might nulify the pendant drop for you. So, it is just my assumption.
As far as I’m aware there’s absolutely no reason why the pendant won’t drop for you anymore. If it’s the case then it’s definitely the first time I’ve seen Blizzard actually modify drop rates to make the storyline make sense lol
Yes you can, you can even accept.the quest and turn it in.
Did it on my shaman a few weeks back.
I completed the entire chain without getting the drop before completion.
Okay, so i got an addon that tracks kill counts and;
around 1500 giant yetis, 1000 mountain yetis, 5 SM boosts, 2 uldaman boosts, 2 rfd boosts, around 300 boulderfist ogre/magus kills, 3 times helping people get Sigil of Strom, around 100 crushridge ogre kills, some 100 ish Dranei kills at SoS while herbing and I still don’t have it.
Got 6 blue items and countless greens, along with 0.01 percent recipes.
So, anyone knows another good place for farming it?
