This has been the case since original Wrath since tanks would join the dungeon-finder, get a dungeon they don’t wanna do and demand to be kicked to skip the leaver penalty.

It’s really going strong Blizzard, double penalty.
I was thrown into a Dungeon where previous healers have been kicked because they weren’t good enough.
I come in and the group leader insisted on skipping monster. after 4 incorrect attempts, I point it out to the group leader who then acknowledges with a kick.
Not only did I waste 15 minutes dying, you also just throw a Dungeon Deserter at my head.
I don’t even know why I’m writing this because the likelihood of you doing anything about it is next to nothing. Because I happily pay 13 dollars every month…

If Lilith comments something toxic (not that Lilith can comment anything that is not toxic), that usually indicates, that OP’s frustration is well placed and is obviously right.

Its the nature of LFD to make us exposed to very unpleasant individuals.
If it can cheer you up a little, people that usually behaves like that are not good enough to play in the guilds they would like too and so they have to vent their frustration on randoms.

Unfortunately the playerbase is getting both more and more disgusting and suck more and more at the game as well. It’s just the new gaming era.
To be honest I think the good old days when people could play (aka let the tank pull for example) and also behaved like normal human beings are gone… We just gotta accept that most interactions are going to be disgusting.

Honestly, receiving a Deserter debuff for getting votekicked has to be absolute dumbest thing they have ever implemented

Not easy when the game if filled with people with the minds and common sense of 8-year olds.
When leveling during SoD, I noticed another phenomena. People pulling everything they see, because “AoE is faster”. This even tho a majority in the group didn’t have AoE, got us wiped and made the healers hair turn grey.
If our max limit when AoEing is 3, or whatever, what are we doing with the additional 8 mobs? Tanking them, wasting the healers mana and being forced to wait for it later on. Apperently it was hard to comprehend that killing 2-3 mobs within seconds and moving fast between packs beats slapping 12 mobs for 15 min. But no, people would rather spend 8 years pulling and killing, than being efficent. AoE FaRmInG, ClEaVE.
I boosted SFK back in the days with a Rogue. Killing things 1 by 1 just fast enough not to hit the reset wall. Was it attractive? No. People felt that seeing the XP rolling in little by little, even tho it was faster per hour, was worse than watching a Mage trying to get the perfect pull and killing everything at once for the big hitter dopamine rush.
No wonder people dont want to tank. One of many reasons.

I just got kicked out because I died.
I was also laughed at in the chat.
The group let me walk for almost 5 minutes and then kicked me out!

I have been farming some dungeons daily and I just got kicked by a team of 4 guildies at the last boss in halls of origination. Reason; I asked to kill Setesh. It was a struggle to heal them since they sucked really badly as well…
Don’t bother mentioning it’s forbidden to call out scumbags. I don’t care.

Don’t forget those people that completely ignore mechanics and just stand in stuff on the ground, just to be “topping the meters”. and when they die, they are like… “Healer sleeping?” or “kick healer”. yes i’ve seen it

It is remarkable that all my bad experiences were with Firemaw people too. Maybe put the server in their own lfg bubble and they can be toxic to each other? Even if that means slightly longer waiting times for decent players?

You either never played this game, or you’re one of the toxic dps that gets an instant kick and a spot on my ignorelist whenever I meet you in a dungeon. Ppl like you are the reason tanks don’t feel like tanking in pugs.

Same thing today… Again I got kicked for asking at start if we could kill Setesh, this time I got removed after two trashpacks though so I guess that saved me some hassle… These sociopats…
