So i recently got called a exploiter for having items from Legion Quest chain that gives you ilvl 50 items and rare items that drop ilvl 40+ same as i have a ring i got from garrison that is ilvl 40 and people are calling me a exploiter for items i have on me. Am i wrong in this or is it the game’s fault.
cause i feel like i should be able to use something that is a upgrade for me like all the other players do.
was the same when they implemented the change that DoTs can crit now. I have been called cheater when I did Alterac Valley with my lvl 60 warlock alt back in wrath. people just dont know anything and start assuming you cheat.
Yeah legion gear from quest chain is literally a reward from completing a zone. Like i dont like cheating in wow so i want to make sure i am doing nothing bad.
Since you have stuff from Legion and Draenor you clearly intended to do this and could have reasonably have known that this was not intended. I’d stay away from PvP with this as it’s an exploit you knowingly took advantage of but it’s unlikely Blizzard would ban you but you never know with them.
This isn’t an exploit, he hasn’t exploited anything.
OP ignore the above, you literally level capped/stoppedexp and then kept questing for gear and that’s not what exploiting is. Stat squish causing imbalanced, its up to blizzard fix not for you to avoid.
No, you haven’t exploited anything; you just made use of an oversight on Blizzard’s part.
You’re going to upset people because people are very anti-twink, because how can people possibly kill new players if they themselves are being farmed by twinks.
Best to just laugh at people that call you an exploiter.
It’s clearly not an exploit, though. It’s a “clever use of game mechanics”.
Certain things give you higher itemlevel rewards? That’s a game mechanic, not an exploit.
Is it messed up and incredibly broken? Sure, but that’s up to Blizzard to fix, not the players. If a trinket from an out of the way questchain would give you insane dps, you wouldn’t call somebody an exploiter for using it, so why do it with items that aren’t scaled properly?
Wake up man. You’re about 200% more powerful than you should be. The game has enough scaling and balance issues already without this crap. You’re part of the reason SL got delayed.
You are not doing anything wrong, but on the other hand, it feels, that you are the unpopular kid who always remains the teacher of upcoming test when the teacher forgets about it.
Completely unnecessary bending and exploiting some stuff, blizz did not adress, because who would have ever thought that some ̶c̶r̶a̶z̶y̶ dedicated player locks exp and spend hours just to exploit something that obviously should not be there in such a state.
It is not gamebreaking exploit, but just some moral / classic griefing stuff here
Tell me how people twinking and using massively OP items are not causing problems when Blizzard are balancing and tuning the game.
Tell me how Blizzard should balance content when most people at level 10 have characters which have normal level 10 gear and a handful of people have an average iLvl of 25.
Tell me what opponents should be put into battlegrounds alongside and playing against the OP.
If he queues for a dungeon, how should that be tuned?
Is your post count higher than your IQ? Somebody having 10% more crit at lvl10 than a green geared player ISN’T breaking any part of the game. Look at all of his gear, all of that is actually less of a damage buff than what his crusader enchant is.
That’s the funny part. Crusader and Mark of the Hidden Satyr enchants at low level are actually much stronger than the ilvl50 gear was.
Shadowlands was delayed because the actual content of the Shadowlands wasn’t up to par. If twinking was the cause of that, the pre-patch would have been delayed too.
You do realise that the difference in power between a twink and a nontwink isn’t even anywhere close to the difference in power between a fresh 50 and a fairly geared one?
What are Blizzard supposed to do about that? NOTHING.
Absolutely god damn nothing. You can’t tell people what they can and can’t use for their characters. If somebody wants to get the best possible items for their low levels, you can’t stop them. Nobody HAS to level their character. There’s no rule that says “you gotta have crap gear while levelling because everybody else does!”.
Dungeons are tuned to your level, not your gear. If I join a hc dungeon on my fresh 50 with somebody who has full mythic Nya’lotha gear, the mobs and bosses will be scaled exactly the same for the both of us.
cheats; i.e. methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard, influencing and/or facilitating the gameplay, including exploits of any in-game bugs, and thereby granting you and/or any other user an advantage over other players not using such methods;
Well I mean I don’t see how you call a level 10 getting non level restricted ilvl 50 items not a bug.
